I walked up to the entrance admiring the beautiful flowers grown perfectly surrounding the large brown house. There were all sorts of colours fusing together to form a wonderful rainbow of flowers. The door swung open and Ally's mum was standing there wearing a red and yellow floral dress and her hair in a neat bun. The smell of cookies poured out the door. This seems like the perfect family.
"Hi, you must be Ashleigh, Ally has talked loads about you."
"Mum, don't be so embarrassing!" Ally said, her cheeks turning pink. We entered the house and straight away I noticed the organisation and tidiness of it. It was perfect. Expensive looking art covered the walls giving a wealthy theme to the home and their tv was bigger than my bedroom window. Ally lead me to her bedroom which was just as I had expected; spotless, pink and filled with beautiful ornaments.
"Wow, this is amazing!" I gasped at how wonderful it was, imagining living in a house like this.
"Thank you" She replied, still blushing.
We completed our homework, ate some cookies and muffins, drank cans of coke, and decided it was time to go home. I think me and Ally will become good friends. I was shocked at how easy it was to converse with her, we chatted about all sorts and even when it was silent, it was comfortable.
When I got home there was a note taped to the kitchen counter.
~Me and Mark have gone out for a date. Call if you need me. Mum x~
This seemed to be a regular occurence and so didn't bother me at all. I just enetered my room, started playing Now 84 and snacked on a packet of oreos. I had a sudden realisation that I hadn't got an outfit to wear to the party on saturday, so decided I would have to go shopping tomorrow,as it was thursday today.
