"Niklaus, our guests have arrived," Elijah called to his brother. Standing behind the Original gentleman, I gave Stefan and Damon a smile.

Klaus appeared almost instantly. I nearly jumped. "Damon. Stefan," he greeted. "Elijah tells me, you seek an audience. Very bold," he smirked. "Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized men, shall we?" We stepped aside to let them in. I received an odd look from Damon, and I raised an eyebrow in question. But Elijah spoke to the boys.

"It's better to indulge him," he informed. Stefan looked bored at Klaus.

Grumpy pants rolled his eyes. "I didn't come here to eat, Klaus. Im fact, I didn't want to come here at all. But I was told I had to 'cause you would hear us out." Ugh, who turned his humanity off? He was an ass now. I want the sweet, soft Stefan back. He was better.

Klaus smirked again. "Well, we can sit and eat, or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides," he said. Ew. I'd rather eat. "The choice is yours." But I think he was directing that threat to the guests. Not us. I hope.

We all went to the giant table the Mikaelsons have. Damon and Stefan sat on one side, and Klaus, Elijah, and I sat on the reflected. I, according to Klaus, had to sit in the middle of the brothers. Rule for girls, or whatever in their household. Rebekah had to live with that? Damn.

A compelled tall woman brought our food over. I had to say, it looked divine. I thanked her and readied my plate on the table. The steak looked absolutely mouth watering.

"Thank you, love," he smiled. So Damon did that too? 'Love'? Really?

Stefan looked at his food. He only touched it with his fork, poking at the meal. His eyes were blank and unreadable, concerning me. I titled my head. What's his deal?

"You lost your appetite," Klaus said. Stefan's brother looked over.

"Eat," Damon suggested. "I thought we agreed we would leave the grumpy Stefan at home." I giggled on the inside. Grumpy Stefan. That's what I said. Hah.

Stefan started eating. Klaus smiled. "That's the spirit," he cheered. "Isn't it nice? Five of us dining together?" He included me. Awesome. I never get included. "Such a treat. Is this what you had in mind when the dagger was pulled from my brother?" His eyes trailed to me. Yes, I pulled it from Elijah. So what?

Damon shrugged. "Well, I know how he felt about you, so I figured the more, the merrier," he said. I told Damon that I pulled the dagger from him, and he agreed with my reasoning. A smile curled at my lips. This was amusing.

"Well, Elijah and I have had our share of quarrels over the century. But we always make it through," Klaus said almost positively. I looked at Elijah. He had a near amused look on his face.

"Kind of like you and Rebekah, right?" Stefan pushed. Um, Stefan? Don't be an ass now. It's not a good time. "Where is she, by the way? Last I checked she was still daggered because you were afraid to face her."

Klaus eyed Stefan warily. "If you're referring to the fact that Rebekah knows I killed our mother, I've already came clean to Elijah." Woah, wait. Klaus killed his own mother? Harsh. Something must've pissed him off to high heavens.
