It was senior prank night. Elena, Caroline, Tyler, Bonnie, and Matt are already there. I decided to come late because of a wardrobe disfunction. I couldn't decide what to wear. But I settled on red Jive polka dot swing dress. The black dots were small, making the dress look a deeper red. There was a black belt around the middle, and the straps tied around my neck. I wore red heels with it. I could rock heels, too. Like, I could run a marathon in them if I had to.
I had walked because I needed some sort of activity. I was always getting rides, and I needed exercise. I didn't want to get fat for senior year.
The doors to the school were unlocked. Many of the rooms were already set up with pranks. As I walked past the math classroom, I laughed. There were mousetraps in one all over the floor. That had to be Caroline.
I heard talking in the gym, and I saw Bonnie and Matt walking towards it. I called out.
"Bonnie! Matt!" They turned to me. A smile lit up on both of their faces.
"Hey," Bonnie smiled.
"Hey, Al," Matt greeted. I joined them.
"How's prank night going?" I asked. Bonnie looked at Matt and nearly laughed.
"Great. We got a lot of classrooms. We're headed to the gym now," Matt explained. I jumped in excitement.
"Let's go!"
As we came through the gym doors, something felt horribly wrong.
"Bonnie, Ally, get out of here!" Elena's voice rang out. I frowned. Oh, you know, not at all sudden and worth freaking out over. This wasn't going to end well, was it?
A familiar voice called out. "Ah, I was wondering when both of you would show up. Now we can get started." My breath hitched. Klaus. What the hell was he doing back?
He looked at Dana and Chad. "Ah, Dana, why don't you relax? You and Chad sit tight." Why did he have to involve people who didn't need to be? His gaze went to us.
"I assume you're the reason the two doppelgängers are still walking around alive?" He asked. He had cold eyes. I stayed right where I was.
Bonnie glared at him. "That's right. If you want to blame someone, blame me," she demanded. I was going to object, but Klaus talked right on.
"Oh, there's no need for blame, love," he started. "Just your witchy interference seems to have caused some undesirable side effects. And since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix," he finished. I glared at him. What an ass!
Just then, Rebekah entered with Tyler. But I thought she was on our side...
I hope Elijah was all right...
Tyler pushed at Rebekah. "Get off me!" He snarled and struggled under her grip.
Rebekah kept her calm. "Hush now," she said. Klaus looked at his little sister.
"I'd like you all to meet my sister Rebekah," he introduced. "Word of warning... She can be quite mean," he smirked. Why was she with him?!
She glared. "Don't be an ass." She threw Tyler into Klaus's arms. Her gaze swept over us and landed on me. I had broken trust and disappointment on my face. Her eyes lowered as a shameful look crossed her features.
Elena was fired up. "Leave him alone!" She exclaimed. Klaus turned to face her.
He held up a finger. "I'm going to make this very simple..." His gaze was hard on Elena. "Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during the transition," he explained. He started to smirk. "It's quite horrible, actually." He bit his wrist and shoved it to Tyler's mouth.
