Klaus brought Finn back to the mansion and threw him into the foyer. All of us followed behind.

"Gather your witch. Let's get his blood and get on with it," Rebekah demanded. I looked towards Klaus.

"Can't I do the spell? I'm a witch," I tried to persuade Klaus. He gave me a look. A really hard look.

"No," he said sternly. "I will not risk it with you, Ally."

I sighed and looked down. Finn's voice called out and sounded firm. "You can't force me to help you."

Klaus gave him a smug look. "Oh, I most likely could, but why force when I can persuade?" Then, someone came down the steps. He pointed at the advancing person, and I saw it was Sage. Finn looked over at her.

"Hello, Finn," Sage greeted.

"Sage," Finn breathed. She smiled and he rushed over to her. He embraced her securely, the affection radiating off them.

Rebekah stuck a hand on her hip. "What do you know, true love prevails," she said. Her face was nearly expressionless.

My eyes were drawn to Klaus as he texted on his phone. It was so odd seeing him text. "It does occasionally have its uses," he said. His eyes then met Finn's. "Easier than torturing him."

Rebekah seemed impatient now. "I have something to do," she said. "What do you need from me for this spell?"

Klaus raised an eyebrow. "Just your blood and your blessing. Where are you going?" He questioned. I was curious too, and my eyes met hers.

She rolled her eyes. "I have some unfinished business with Damon Salvatore," she explained. Her eyes went to Sage. "Ask Sage what he did to me. Then you'll understand why retribution is in order."

Bekah then left. I raised my eyebrows and turned back to the scene. Klaus was watching Finn and Sage, and Elijah and I stood in silence.

Rebekah went out to clear her unfinished business with Damon, but I didn't expect her to bring him back and clamp his wrists in bear traps.

I cringed when he grunted in pain. He was now off the ground. It made me wince on the inside. Before he could see me, I flashed off into another room.

Elijah was in the living room on the couch, reading. I rigidly walked up to him. My feet drug on the ground like heavy cement was molded around them, forcing everything to the earth.

His eyes caught mine, and he became concerned. "What's bothering you, Alice?" His worried voice questioned. He closed the book, setting it on the table next to the couch.

I sighed and sat right next to him. His arm came around me, pulling me close. His warmth soothed me.

My eyes met his. "Rebekah is going to torture Damon out there," I explained. Elijah gave me a sympathetic look.

"It is her way of gaining revenge," he told me. I was surprised when he pulled me into his lap. His arms wrapped comfortingly around me.

I looked into his chocolate eyes. He leaned down and kissed me tenderly. My hands grasped his shoulders gently. His arms slid around me, keeping me close.
