school sucks

I wanted to write but i completely trash wrote this, so I'm sorry if it is cheesier than cheese but school has cut into my writing time so I'm sorry! Please forgive me also this may have a lot more spelling errors because i didn't re edit it.

Your friend's words drifted in and out of your head. "Hey ____ you gonna ask sans out to prom?"

"Wha! Undyne, not so loud!" You hissed as she let out a barrel laughter.

"Besides...are you gonna ask al-"

Undyne practically, well no she put her hand over your mouth and you licked her hand

"Ew!!! I'm gonna catch the nerd"

You rolled your eyes "shut up, you're already a nerd!"

"I have caught it!"

You both heard someone clear their throats and you both turned to see mettaton standing next to your lunch table. "Ah metta! "

"Hello darlings, miss me?"

"Oh, a whole lot"

Mettaton let out a laugh, a graceful laugh, and then he sat down.

"Where is alphys?"

Mettaton looked at undyne through his long eyelashes, a smirk spreading across his face "why do you care, undyne?"

Undyne got a flustered look on her face but her stern expression continued, they stared at each other, you were in between.

You shook your head "metta, just answer the question "

Mettaton sighed "she is in the library as usual "

Undyne got up, "you wanna come with me?"

You shook your head "go have some alone time"

Undyne blushed and nodded "thanks, see ya soon" you waved and turned to mettaton who was lazily sitting back.

"You don't gotta tease her so much, metta" you said with a shake of your head.

Mettaton shrugged "if we don't, they'll never admit their feelings for each other, besides its cute "

"Mm? But metta, don't forget i know who you have a crush on..."

Mettaton sighed "fine"

They laughed and you could feel mettaton grow stiff in his spot, he visibility gripped the table, leaving his hand marks.

You looked at mettaton "they're not worth it, let them talk"

Mettaton looked at you "i know but.."

You shook your head "they're not worth it"

"We're not worth what?" You saw shadows across the table. You sighed and closed your eyes.

You looked to mettaton, who was impossibly quiet, oh no you had to act fast.
