That was epic. I skipped off stage and ran backstage, doing a cartwheel once back there. I looked at Jami grinning. I backed up against the wall closest to the stage and smiled mischievously at her. She knew what I was fixing to attempt.

"Oh no. JORDAN! Please Liz don't do it. Remember what happened in 9th grade?" She looked at Jordan. Her eyes practically screamed lock her up in a padded room with a straight jacket.

"Jami calm down its fine." Jordan said sitting on the arm of the chair next to her brother Matt. Yes it's the amazing Matt Good. Soak that in a little.

"But she.... And the wall..... Blood on her face.... Boys laughing.... Humiliated." She sputtered out pointing crazily at me.

"Let her learn you wuss. She's not 14 anymore." Jordan gave me the thumbs up and I smiled.

I ran wide open across the open space and halfway across I jumped into a flip doing that twice I landed on my hands in a hand stand. Woah! That's even better. I did it, I did it. I jumped up and fixed my hair, straightening my clothes up. I stared at Jami who was now clapping and laughing. I went to grab my cigarettes, still on my cloud nine from the experience on stage and getting higher since I finally finished that trick. They were missing.

"Where are my cigs?" I said to Jack.

"I think Jake took them on stage. But their off in a few." Jack responded.

"Okay guess I should wait." I sat down sighing.

For the love of God, I hope they would hurry. I was so in need of a cigarette. Okay nap time? Yes!  "I'm taking a nap. Wake me up before y'all go on. Nighty night." I said smiling at Alex as I wiggled my toes under the blanket. He smiled back and looked at me in a weird way. Was that a love struck look? Oh never mind.

I closed my eyes and was out like a light bulb. It was peaceful. Until the dream began. Then it was a horrible nightmare.

' Andy looked at me as I strummed the first cords of Lost It All on my guitar. I smiled at him.

"You ready Freddy?" I laughed. My voice sounded more beat up and raspy.

"Yes ma'am I am. Please begin." He looked at me, a graceful shadow of sibling love shining in his icy blue eyes.

We sat alone on a park bench. I had my acoustic guitar in my lap and Andy sat across from me. It was a normal thing we did. We'd find a park one day in the places we stopped and I'd play for him as he sang. Practice kind of. I loved it because he'd ask sometimes if I would sing with him. Today Jake tagged along. Boy do I have this kid tied around my finger. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

A gust of cool summer air blew through the deserted park, rustling the fresh cut grass. I breathed in a whiff and released it, smiling and showing teeth. Jake melted inside I knew.

Andy began singing. His voice trailing off in waves that floated through the air like low flying clouds. I felt something brush my back. Jake sat down behind me, humming in my ear. I blushed and Andy chuckled. We finished up and headed back to the venue. None of this looked familiar to me. It was weird but of course it was a dream. All imagination.

Just then a guy stepped out in front of us. His face was hidden behind a bandana and I froze. Jake dragged me onward until the guy grabbed me. He wrapped his arm around my neck and I felt Jakes fingertips brush the tips of mine in a desperate attempt to hold onto me. I screamed his name as my hand slipped from his but nothing came. Nothing at all. The guy had me in a head lock with a gun pointed to my head. He was demanding everything. Money, phones, jewelry. I let my pleading eyes land on Andy's as the icy tip of his gun touched my temple. I waited patiently to make my move. Please don't. That was repeated in my head over and over. Then I did it. I bit into his forearm and ran toward Jake as he dropped his grip, screaming a string of cuss words behind me. I was so close to him. So close then BANG! Jake screamed as I fell to the ground. I grabbed my side. It was over wasn't it?

I looked down at the shot in my hip in shock. Then looked up as Jake fell, Andy right behind him. I glared at the man as he ran to collect his treasure. I screamed in pain as I jumped on top of him. I pounded on his face again and again. Screaming, crying. It was so real then, it was gone'

I smacked the floor hard. I felt hands grabbed me as I struggled to escape. I was still half asleep and dazed. I was in a dream state still, thinking it was him. I let out a scream of horror as I slid backwards across the ground (floor) and into someone's feet. I closed my eyes as I was shook hard. And I was out of it. It was gone. Like that Andy was fine.

"Liz what's wrong with you? Are you freaking possessed by a demon?" Andy shook me again. I looked at him. I was speechless.

"He was here. He shot you, jake, me. He robbed us Andy he shot you. HE SHOT BOTH OF YOU!" I screamed at him. I was pouring tears. I was screaming over and over

"HE KILLED YOU! HE KILLED YOU." Andy grabbed me off the floor into a protective embrace. I was crying hard into his shirt. I grabbed ahold of him tightly.

"It's not real Liz. It's okay go outside and see for yourself. Alex said you needed your cigarettes anyways. He went to get something." I looked at him. Then he let go and pointed to the door smiling. I wiped my eyes with my shirt and headed for the door. Maybe we should date.

I opened the door, seeing the guys in a group heading down the side walk. Jake was who I singled out. I screamed his name and ran toward him when he turned and stopped. I jumped into his arms and he grabbed me back. A smile broke across his face as my hair fell across his face creating an invisible curtain. I smiled but frowned when his disappeared.

"Why have you been crying Liz?" Jake said in a worried voice, dropping me to the ground and wiping the black tears on my cheeks away. Thanks waterproof mascara. You really were helpful. My gaze dropped to the ground.

"I had a dream. You, me, and Andy were shot but you guys died. It was horrible and just when I thought you were mi-. My best friend." I tried to slide into that other sentence but was unsuccessful.   "When you thought I was yours." Jake smiled.

"Just say it already. It's killing you." He released my chin and stood there, glancing at the cigarettes in his hand. I went to grab them but stopped. I didn't want them right now. I wanted him.

I jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. He was mine. I felt his arm around my waist and the other on my thigh. I looked into his eyes and whispered into his ear. Once again hidden by the curtain of soft black hair. "You already are mine."

I didn't give him time to answer me. I grabbed his face and kissed him. His lips brushed mine in a graceful pull of affection. In return he kissed me back. I let go and smiled running my finger over my lip ring and lips. It was magic wasn't it. I looked up, hearing whistling and claps. They weren't really watching that long were they. I blushed and jake dropped me softly.

"Later." He whispered. Then turned, pulling me to his side. "Okay, okay. Calm down. This isn't show and tell so continue onward." They all laughed and continued. But Alex looked at me with sad eyes. Even if he had a smile on. His heart was crushed.
