One week went by without incident. During the week that followed the carnival, things seemed to be pretty quiet around the group. Andrew was back with Kate and was in his 'Kate mode' again, according to Israel, and the metal manipulator moved back into his house. Melarni and Ivan missed the first three days of school because they got sick from playing in the rain. Christina revealed that the marching band won first place in their competition over the weekend. Jazmine started going to the warehouse after classes regularly to keep Doreen company even if she was the only one. Marissa's mind was preoccupied with the upcoming art show that was to be held at the end of the month, a day before the music show, as well as taking care of her siblings. Israel... well, he's been preoccupied with his job at the bingo hall.

For the past week, it seems, the group had been distant with each other. Each busy with their own lives, each busy with their own work. Marissa with the art show, Melarni with the music show, Andrew with Kate, Israel with trying to impress Lisa, Christina with band, and Jazmine with... well, nothing. With senior year almost ending, things were about to get hectic for all the seniors with activities, final projects, final exams, and graduation.

The Open Mic Night at Café Lahv was cancelled again, much to Melarni's disappointment, and wouldn't be up again until the 16th.

It was Monday again, the start of a new week. It was the morning before classes and the raven haired phaser was at her locker to retrieve her books for her morning classes.

"Where is everyone?" She muttered to herself as she looked around. The hallways were nearly empty with only her and two other people at their lockers. She glanced at her wristwatch and saw that it was five minutes before first period starts. She sighed and closed her locker.

As she started to walk to her first class, her mind started to wonder. Even though they all haven't seen each other in the past week, she already missed them. Sure she didn't have a hectic schedule like them, but if they needed her, she'd be right there.

Something bright caught her eyes and she looked up.

SENIORS! GET READY FOR SENIOR ACTIVITIES COMING YOUR WAY! The bright orange banner hanging above her head read and she chuckled.

Oh, right! She grinned excitedly as she read the banner. Luckily, the words were large enough for her to read.

"Sweet!" An excited voice cheered next to her, making her jump. "We're finally gonna do the senior activities!"

"Andrew?" The phaser questioned, her jaw slightly opened.

The only time she saw Andrew was in class and whenever they weren't in class, he would always be with Kate. If anything, he didn't even hang out with the guys or the metagroup anymore since the carnival. Whenever she'd see him with Kate walking in the halls or around campus in the previous week, Kate would glare at her and tug Andrew towards the opposite direction. Whenever first period was over, Jazmine would see Kate pull Andrew out of his seat and drag him out the door to walk her to her next class. Possessive much? If the newcomer thought that the phaser - or anyone, for that matter - was going to steal her boyfriend which is why she's acting like that, then she's completely mistaken.

Andrew looked down at her with a smile and waved. "Yo!" Out of habit, the girl looked around and behind him. The male raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing?"

"Where's Kate?" She asked nonchalantly and looked up at him. Curse their height difference.

"Oh," he chuckled and looked at his wristwatch, "she said she might not come to first period because she has a doctor's appointment, but she's gonna be here by third period." He grinned dreamily. "She's so dedicated and hardworking. If I were her, I wouldn't come to school at all and just stay home after my doctor's appointment."
