Chapter 34

Thursday morning.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

BOOGSH!

THUD!

"HEEELLLPPP!!!"

"MRS. MCKAAAAYYYY!!!!!"

"Erika?!" Mrs. McKay shouted through the closed door, slamming her hand on the cool wood. "Carolina! Alondra! Open this door at once!" She grabbed onto the door knob and tried turning it, but alas, it would not budge. The commotion had everyone running out of their rooms and crowding behind her, confusion and annoyance evident on their faces.

"What the hell's going on?" Mia Cooper exclaimed while running a hand through her messy brown hair. Jazmine walked right behind her. "I was trying to sleep."

"Mrs. McKay," The phaser asked with worry on her face, "what's happening?"

"There's something happening behind this door," The female chaperon said hastily while trying to turn the knob and pushing onto the door, "and it's bad!"

"Andrew," Ivan instructed grumpily as he walked over, "fix the knob." The metal mimicker raised an eyebrow and shoved the psychic on the shoulder.

"AAHHHHHH!!!!!" A bloody scream erupted from the room once again, causing everyone to wince and cover their ears.

"Israel," Marissa slapped the superhuman's arm, "can you see what's happening inside?"

"I can't," He apologized, holding his head in pain, "everything's still groggy from sleep."

"Ugh," Melarni rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "useless." She turned to the phaser who was trying to look around the crowd. "Jaz, go look inside." The younger girl's eyes widened.

"No way! There's people!"

SLISH!

SLASH!

SLISH!

THUD!

At those sounds, everyone stilled and stared at the door. It was eerily silent as Mrs. McKay proceeded to try to turn the knob.

"Erika!" The female chaperon shouted and slammed her hands on the door repeatedly. Where was the other chaperon?! "Carolina! Alondra! Open this door this instant!" Where were the employees here?!

"Back up!" A voice shouted and everyone turned to see Lisa walking towards them, unsheathing a katana along the way.

"Lisa!" Mrs. McKay shrieked, blue eyes wide. "Where did you...?!"

"Step away!" Lisa instructed and once the chaperon stepped away from (and the other students around) the door, the swordswoman raised her sword high and sliced off the doorknob.

At once, the door cracked open and the ex-BSIA worker pushed it open. She stopped dead in her tracks once she was inside, eyes wide as she took in the scene in front of her. Mrs. McKay stopped right behind her, eyes wide and hands covering her mouth.

"Oh my..." The older woman gasped.

"Not again..." Melarni and Jazmine gasped once they pushed their way through the crowd and ran inside the room, Christina and Marissa right behind them.

They all stared at the scene in front of them: the three dead bodies of Erika, Carolina, and Alondra lying on the floor, eyes wide and blood dripping from the large gashes on their bodies. Their skin was deteriorated and handfuls of hair were scattered around them.

Cameras clicked and flashed at the bodies outlined in chalk on the floor as the cadavers themselves were carried out of the room. Outside, students desperately tried to contact their parents to pick them up.
