They gathered in Jazmine and Mia's room, with Ivan guarding the door in case one of the chaperons walked in and the rest of the metahumans inside. The guys/nonmetahumans had retired to their own rooms in the west wing. Jazmine was asleep in her bed while Marissa, Melarni, and Christina stood around her. Israel and Andrew sat on Mia's bed, the latter having already taken a quick shower and changed his clothes. Marissa used her powers to dry Jazmine before they set her in her bed.

"Are you sure she tried to kill you?" Melarni asked and turned to glance at Andrew while she pulled up a chair to sit next to the phaser's bed. Andrew narrowed his eyes.

"I'm pretty sure that's what was happening when she pulled me down into the lake with her hands around my neck." He deadpanned with a glance at the phaser. She looked so peaceful and oblivious in her sleep. He almost smiled but retained his frown. He didn't know why, but he feels that he just can't get mad at her... even if she did just try to kill him.

"Maybe she just wanted to spend some quality time with you," Christina snorted in amusement as she sat down on the windowsill, "I mean, that statement was pretty ambiguous." He glared at her but she just smiled innocently back.

"Andrew," Marissa sighed, "Jazmine can't swim, so there's no way she could've done that." He raised his eyebrows in surprise."

"She can't?" Marissa nodded. He sighed. "So what do we do?"

"Well for starters," Marissa started, "we need to know why she tried to kill you if what you're saying is true."

"I didn't do anything bad," the oldest of the group defended with raised hands, "I swear." At that, the door opened and in came Erick with Ivan right behind him.

"Is she okay?" The blue eyed male asked as Ivan closed the door. He looked at the sleeping metahuman before resting his eyes on her friends expectantly.

"She's just sleeping right now," Marissa answered with crossed arms, "why're you concerned?" She narrowed her eyes at him, giving him one of her trademark calculative stares, but he was undeterred as he pulled up another chair and sat at the foot of the bed.

"She's my friend," he raised an eyebrow at her, "and that's what happened earlier as well."

"What do you mean?" Israel asked and walked towards the group.

"When I saw her earlier outside," the nonmetahuman explained, "it was right before she fainted and I brought her to the cabin; to you guys." He nodded. "When I saw her, she was holding a dagger and was walking towards Kate and Andrew by the lake." He jerked a thumb back at the brown eyed eye male casually.

"What?!" Andrew shrieked and hugged his arms, clearly panicking at the information. "You mean I could've died earlier?" Erick laughed.

"If I hadn't stopped her, perhaps," The blue eyed brunet glanced at him, "but it looks like fate's testing you right now."

"The fuck man!" Andrew grabbed onto his hair in frustration. "First it was the amnesia, and now this?" While he freaked out, Marissa stared at the newcomer.

"So what's your theory?" The elemental questioned while he shrugged.

"She was possessed?" He laughed and then pointed to Christina and Ivan. "You both are telepaths, right?" The two psychics raised their eyebrows in surprise.

"What makes you say that?" Ivan questioned and crossed his arms. Christina nodded in agreement. Erick laughed.

"It's okay, you don't need to hide," he waved his hand dismissively, "I'm friends with David and I was part of the special unit in the BSIA before Julian destroyed it," he scanned the metahumans in the room with a knowing gaze, "so I know about all of you."
