Chapter 22
Preprations
“You are seriously going to meet his parents?” rats asked for maybe the tenth time
“Even after what they did to you?” Clar asked handing me a red top
“Yes! But he’ll be there to protect me this time.” I said probably more shocked of my actions than she was.
As soon as Nish broke the news to me and I froze. He assumed that it was a good surprise and not the absolute shock in which I was. Nish then called rats and Clar and asked them to come here as soon as possible as it was an emergency just to get them here fast enough. He was right though. It was an emergency.
“You are unbelievable!” Clar said
“No! HES unbelievable” rats said and no one spoke for like a minute or so
“Is he sure he wants to do this?” Clar broke the silence
“Yes. He is sure. He thinks somehow I’ll impress everyone there” I said
“Where are you going anyway?” Clar said
“Jodhpur” I replied
“What time is your flight?”
“Umm, tomorrow early in the morning I guess” I said
“You don’t know your flight timing even?” rats asked
“Well Nish wanted to leave today evening itself but I needed more time to prepare so I think tomorrow morning will be alright.” I said
“Sweetie, the flight timings don’t change according to you!” Clar said with her hands on her hips telling me slowly as if I were a child.
