Chapter 26
A Pretty Dirty Breakup
“Good evening Clar!” I said trying to be as cheerful as possible for my friend
“Good eve M” she said giving me one tiny smile, well at least that’s something
“Here Clar, I made some cold coffee for you will extra cream and chocolate syrup! Just as you like it” Nish said placing her coffee on the table as he ruffled her hair with a smile on his face.
It had been a week since Clar showed up at our doorstep. She was living here ever since. From the minute we saw Clar crying, Nish had taken utmost care of her. He understood how hard this breakup was to her and he was there for her support day in and day out, no matter what. He was actually taking care of her more than I was.
“Thanks a lot guys!” Clar said
“I know this might have been so hard on you, you know taking care of me like this, especially after the way I just appeared outside your apartment out of the blue, and you guys took good care of me, thank you so much!” Clar said
“Oh come on! What are best friends for huh?” I said hugging her tight to myself
“Now shut up and drink the coffee I made you” Nish said, she laughed a bit before sipping her coffee
“Umm it’s amazing” she said
“Obviously” Nish said straightening his invisible collar and dusting invisible dust off his shoulder
