Chapter 2
For Your Own Good
“I wish I could stay like this forever” he whispered in my ear and I sighed in content pulling him closer before he kissed my forehead. It was a Sunday 5th December, a day before our nine month anniversary and my parents were gone to Kolkata so I didn’t have to go visit them. So here I am laying in the arms of my boyfriend spending a very lazy Sunday.
“So your parents have gone to Kolkata.” He said
“Yup! There’s a family get together.” I answered anyway
“Why didn’t you go with them?” he asked me
“Project submissions” I answered
“I could easily submit them for you” he said matter-of-factly. I looked at him. He looked back at me; finally he smiled narrowing his eyes. I knew that look.
“FINE!! I just didn’t want to leave you and go okay?” I said throwing my hands in frustration. He always catches me!
“Baby you should’ve gone.” He said
“I didn’t want to” I answered
“You still should’ve gone, your family would’ve been happy to see you” he said
“Why do you have to be the matured one always I don’t want to go so I won’t? And you have no say in this whatsoever!” I said getting fake angry trying to pull his arms away from me
