                                                        Chapter 5

I'm Right Here If You Need Me

NISH POV

It was ten o clock in the morning. Afreen, her parents and I were still in the hospital, waiting for the doctor’s verdict. Soon the doctor walked out and all of us looked at him with hungry eyes waiting for some good news. My heart was throbbing against my rib cage…what if she’s not good? What if something happens to her?

“Myra Sen is better now. We’ve done all we could to save her now the rest remains in her hand. She has shown some improvement though. Let’s hope for the best. Her body is rejecting a few medicines so we’re trying to decide what’s the problem, maybe her intestine is a bit damaged due to the accident, we’ll take care of that when she wakes up. We’re shifting her to the normal ward now.” He said and we all felt relieved. My may would come back to me…we just don’t know when. I tried to reassure my heart.

“Nishit, Afreen I advise you both to go home now. You both need to get some sleep. Tomorrow is Monday after all” her mom said in a motherly tone which made me want to curl up and cry

“Ok ma’am” I answered

“Call me aunty dear” she said smiling at me. I smiled back at her.

                                                 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

After we came out of the hospital we both came home. Afreen went to rest while I took a bath. I grabbed some money, our keys and took off in my car again. I bought a bunch of roses before I walked in the hospital again.

“You here again son?” her dad asked me
