Chapter 9

Natalie’s paranoia had hit to the extreme with her eyes looking at every direction that was possible with each step we took. I rolled my eyes and swore my breath as to why in the hell she was looking around like this. My life was in danger by Lexis. That wasn't something new. I don't believe in any of the shit she's been telling me. I don't know what was going on her mind but the last thing I wanted was her to put a gun to Lexis head or the other way around.

Funny, normally having two girls fight for me is the most amusing thing in the world. And having two hot chicks that knew how to use a gun-fighting for me-I'd assume that would be the hottest and sexist thing in the world. This was neither amusing nor hot.

Natalie claims that Lexis works for some evil organization and she's out to kill me, and Lexis meeting me wasn't a coincidence at all. And Natalie also claims she's hear to protect me. I didn't really like the idea of a girl protecting me; it annoyed me when Lexis did. I came into a halt and stared at the black haired girl beside me.

                "Nat-" I began.

                "Wendy," She corrected.

"Nat, I'm done with this 'date' with you. You're way too paranoid," I rolled my eyes.

"My paranoia will save you," She sighed. She took hold of my hand and led me to the left where a fancy restaurant stood. That meant I'll be paying. I always hated paying for girls. Taking Lexis was easy because it was hilarious at the things she did in them. Not to mention she volunteered to pay whatever she could afford. She'd barely dress up but at those times she would and it was damn attractive. She was just so damn strict about not sleeping with me. Before I knew it, Natalie had already got us in the restaurant. I sat myself down and continued to miss Lexis. Everything about her, down to the silkiness of her hair, smiles and threatening-I loved it all. I loved her so much.

"Damon, did you hear anything that I just said?" Natalie doubly blinks. I snapped myself out of it and stared back at her, "Yea."

"Do you change your mind now?" She raised an eyebrow, pulling out the menu in front of her.

"Uh..." What did she say? "No?" The waiter had come in and I placed the usual order, mostly just fries. Then Natalie lifted her chin and shook her head, "That's not what I want." Right, I accidently ordered for her again. Lexis usually just wanted something simple and tons of dessert. Natalie didn't have a sweet tooth like Lexis. Natalie ordered for herself and while she was doing that, I snuck into my jean pocket and peaked over at it under the table. I didn't hesitate to send a text to Lexis.

'I'm so horny. Sex tonight? ;)' I send her a text and swore to myself. I screwed up again. Why couldn't I just tell her, 'I miss you?' The more days passed by, the harder it got to say anything to her anymore. Not to mention she'd hardly text back anymore. She was busy with Javier and everything else. Not like Natalie would let me get near her. The only time she'd text me is when she wanted advice to wrap that assassin on her finger. Right away I got a text back and it brought a big smile on me. I knew it was going to be an angry respond.

'What do you do when he doesn't want to kiss you?' - Lexis. I quickly replied ‘Don’t.’ I then smashed my phone against the table. The waiter and Natalie snapped their eyes back at me.

"Sorry," I dryly stated glancing at the two, but obviously I wasn't. I wanted to get out of here and pull Javier away from the girl that belonged to me. She was mine. He better still understand that.
