Puppy - Spencer

I hear the front door open and close as Spencer arrives home. I put my book down and get up from my bed to greet him at the door. I turn the corner and see him put a shopping bag of dog toys and treats on the floor.

"New stuff for Cleo?" I ask.

"Nope," He responds, "I have a present for you."

He walks out to our backyard and comes back inside with the most adorable corgi puppy in the world

"You got me a puppy? You're the best." I say as I start to pet the energetic pup.

"I saw him today and thought you would love him." Spencer says kneeling with me to play with us.

"I think I'll name him... (Name)!" I smile looking at him smiling back at me.

"I think it fits him well." Spencer says.

"Thank you so much, Spence." I kiss him on the cheek and (name) puts his paws on spencer's leg.

"Anything for you, (Y/N)."
