JAMES' POV

We went back at about five in the evening I relax a while. When Luke and I got back, I found a letter from Zach that read:

dear jaмeѕ and lυĸe,

ι'м really нoмeѕιcĸ and ι jυѕт нad тo leave. pleaѕe don'т worry aвoυт мe, ι'м perғecтly ғιne. alѕo, pleaѕe don'т call or тeхт мe eιтнer. ι jυѕт really need ѕoмe alone тιмe тo тнιnĸ aвoυт тнιngѕ and ѕorт everyтнιng oυт. pleaѕe ѕay goodвye тo everyone ғor мe and gιve тнeм мy apologιzeѕ. ι wιѕн тнe вeѕт ғor nιcoleттe and jaѕon. lυĸe, тreaт вrιdgeт wιтн тнe reѕpecт ѕнe deѕerveѕ, ѕнe'ѕ вeen тнroυgн enoυgн already. jaмeѕ, нυrт grace and yoυ're dead. ѕerιoυѕly. ѕнѕ alwayѕ нaѕ вacĸ υp. (тrυѕт мe, ι've вeen wιтн нer.)

ι'll мιѕѕ yoυ,

zacн

I read the letter a few times to try and figure out why he left. He was definitely not homesick. What does he need to sort out? This isn't like him to keep things from us. He always tells us when something's up.

I handed the letter to Luke and let him read it. "Dude, he's fine. He even said it in the letter. Don't worry so much. He's a big boy! He can handle himself." Luke explained to me.

How could he be so careless? Does he not know our best friend? I don't care what he says, Zach is lying about something and I'm gonna find out what it is.

I took out my phone and pulled up Grace's number. Her picture was her after I finished her shell angel. I snapped a quick picture while her eyes were still closed. Beautiful as ever was she. I called her number.

"Hello?" Her voice rang.

"Hey Hun," I smiled.

"What's up?"

"Nothing," I started. "I just wanted to know if we were still going to go out to dinner tonight. We could go see a movie or go out somewhere. Whatever you want." I was making it up to her from this morning.

"Chinese takeout," she said with no hesitation. "Then we can just lay on the beach. I just want something simple for once."

"Whatever you want, we'll do. Tonight is all about you." I was happy to say those words.

"No, no, no. Tonight is all about us," she said through the phone. I was even happier to hear those words. This is my chance to make it up to her. This needs to be fun and no problems. No worries. And there won't be.

LUKE'S POV

I am also taking my girl out tonight. She wanted Mexican so we're getting Mexican. I knocked on her door and she opened it, still putting in an earring.

She looked stunning. She wore a short, strapless light blue dress (which is her color if you haven't noticed) and her hair was in her natural curls I loved.

"You look great," I said leaning in to kiss her. But she quickly covered her lips with her hand.

"I didn't put my lips gloss on yet! Wait until we get to the restaurant," she chuckled. I rolled my eyes. She's never that girly.

"Ready to go?" I asked. She nodded and walked out the door. I shut it behind me.

We walked to my car and I opened the door for her and went to the driver's side. "It's a 20 minute drive so get your lipstick on now," I chuckled at her. After she applied her lip stuff, she opened the window and stuck her head out, looking free as ever.

My phone in my back pocket buzzed.

нєу вαву!

Dara. She always texts me. She's my girlfriend back home. I didn't know I was gonna see Bridget here and trust me I would way rather be with her than Dara. I was planning on breaking up with Dara when I get back because only assholes breakup over the phone. Then me and Bridget can be together with no problems.
