GRACE'S POV
"Damn. Looking fine as always," Luke said under his breath. Zach and James just gave him a look. I don't think anyone was supposed to hear that. "What?" Luke asked confused. I just chuckled at him.
James was wearing a pair of khaki shorts and an indigo collared shirt from Hollister. He was very tall and skinny. Not a bad skinny. But very muscular. He's actually kinda hot... Forget it, Grace. He probably has a girlfriend anyway. A guy like that must have tons of girls throwing themselves at him constantly.
"Come in," I smiled.
"Hi," each boy chimed. They each gave us all hugs. Zach's was pretty awkward.
"Wow. This house is super nice," James said with raised eyebrows.
"Everyone come eat!" Bridget said clapping her hands. She motioned toward the table which had pork chops, mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies all smelling wonderful.
The actual sit-down-dinner was very awkward. No one really said much. Everyone just ate. Maybe the food was just that good? Bridget was the only one trying to start a conversation but it didn't work out. It looked Like everyone was thinking. About what? I don't know but most of us just smiled while we ate. Maybe it was all the memories that were flooding back.
The only really weird part was James was looking at me... a lot.
JAMES' POV
Damn. Grace has gotten so much hotter since high school. Maybe I could start something with her. A few dates won't hurt right? It's not like I'm marrying her. I'm not the marrying type anyways.
I mean look at her... She's stunning. I never thought I'd look at her like I am now. She was always this goodie goodie who never did anything bad in high school. I remember all the guys would call her prude but she looks like a good time now.
I have Elena at home but I've wanted to break up with her for months now. She's so annoying and lately she's been really demanding. Telling me to do things for her all the time... Grace wouldn't do that to me. She never did it to Zach.
Zach! Ugh... I couldn't date her after their breakup. I completely forgot. She's so small and fragile. Well... Zach did break it off with her so there should be nothing wrong with me at least talking to her. No harm, no foul, right?
I never thought of her in this way. Probably because my focus was on Nicolette and Nicolette only. Although I've been with a lot of girls, I'm not the cheating type. I'll break up with Elena. Tonight.
Tonight's she gonna fall for this sex God.
GRACE'S POV
After dinner everyone split up. Bridget had assigned herself kitchen duty (probably to stay away from Luke), Zach, Jason, and Nicolette all went in the family room to watch the X-Factor and I went to go sit on the back porch.
I sat on the porch swing and looked out on the ocean trying to take my mind off of James. I put my head in my hands and when I looked back up, I turned my head slightly only to find a male sitting next to me. I yelped and jumped up.
"I didn't even hear you come out. You scared the shit out of me," I gasped. I shook my head trying to compose myself. How long has he been sitting there?
"Yeah," he chucked. "Sorry about that. Uh.. Do you wanna take a walk with me?"
Is that even a question? "Yeah. I'd love to," I smiled.
He took my hand which I totally was confused about. Where is this coming from? Well I guess friends can hold each other's hands...
"Do you like it here?" He asked me, breaking the silence.
