Interuption

AN- I did a English assessment the other day and we had to write a diary entry obviously when I found out I knew it would have to be a fanficton. I'll see how good my fanfiction skills are when I get my grade back.

I decided what I should do in my head.
I didn't want Carl to think I was leaving him just because Enid is here now.
But at the same time I desperately wanted to see what the question was.
I glanced over to the kitchen still holding the blinds.
Carl was writing something.
I had a chance to make an exit without him knowing.
As I gently closed the blinds I said.
You: "I'm still dying for toilet I didn't go when we were at Ron's."
I waited hesitantly for a response.
Carl: "Yeah okay..."
I should ask what's wrong but I needed to talk to Enid.

Outside
Enid was still there when I got outside.
You: "Hey Enid!"
She jumped and turned to face me immediately.
Enid: "Oh hey I was going to look for you but I dropped something."
I glanced at the floor where she was just searching.
You: "I'll help you find it and in the meantime you can tell me what you wanted to!"
Enid: "Yeah okay sounds fair."
She smiled and I joined her to search for what was missing.
You: "So what is it we are looking for?"
Enid: "A necklace you'll know it when you see it."
I nodded to let her know I understood.
Enid: "Basically I was just wondering if you know you and Carl were erm *cough* together?"
My heart was beating so fast this was how the love films always started!
You: "Why'd you ask?"
Crap! I should have just told her we wasn't.
Enid: "I was just... Erm it was just for a friend..."
Aww bless she shouldn't be worried maybe she doesn't know I like her back...
Carl: "As a matter of fact yes we are!"
