Lets Go

Enid: "So, now that we've got that out of the way, what was it you wanted to tell me?"
You: "I just... just wanted to tell you, you look absolutely beautiful."

I grabbed hold of Enid's hand and kissed it gently.
She looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

Enid: "Oh umm... I thought it would be something serious, I was getting worried."
You: "Oh well! No need to be worried then!"
Enid: "Are you sure that's it?"

I gulped trying not to panic.
Then I just slightly nodded my head and smiled convincingly at her.

Enid: "Well in that case, you look absolutely stunning!"
You: "Ah, well my compliment doesn't even do you justice!"
Enid: "Awe, what can I say! I'm just naturally this beautiful!"

I pushed her playfully and we both started laughing quietly.
Nobody was around but we didn't want to risk our moment alone being interrupted.

Enid: "I know it's really late and you would probably prefer to go back to the party or get some sleep but I was wondering if maybe I could take you somewhere."
You: "If somewhere means your place and we get to bang then I'm down!"

I laughed and exaggerated a wink.

Enid: "Sometimes I wonder where you get your sense of humour from, then I remember that you're dating me."
You: "I guess that does explain it but where would we actually be going?"
Enid: "Well its kind of a surprise but I'm gonna need you to trust me and do what I say."
You: "I'm sure that shouldn't be too difficult."
Enid: "Well in that case, follow me!"

Enid gleefully jumped up from her spot and held out her hand for me.
I grabbed it and pulled myself up too.

Enid: "I have a question."
You: "Go ahead."
Enid: "Are you any good at climbing?"
You: "Uhhh I mean I can try!"

Before she could reply the sound of footsteps crashed below us.
Enid looked at me with a look or terror in her eyes.

She came towards me and whispered gently in my ear.

Enid: "Pretend we are fighting."

Without giving me a moment to realise what she said I felt my back hit against the metal wall as Enid pushed me aggressively.
I didn't want to hurt her so I decided insults where my best bet.

You: "What that fuck are you doing you stupid cow?"
Enid: "Oh shut your face rat! What on earth do you think it was for?!"

Almost on cue the person who was making their way upstairs appeared from below us.

Abraham: "Whoa! What is going on here?!"

I was started by his unusually aggressive tone of voice.

Enid: "She was..."
You: "Nothing Abraham it's okay, no need to worry."

Enid shot me a cold glance.

Abraham: "Yeah well, maybe it's best you two head home, I don't want to have to clean up any blood tomorrow."
You: "Uh... we were only..."
Enid: "We were just leaving anyway, so don't act like you're doing us a favour."

Both of us looked at Enid who was full of rage.
She grabbed her jacket from the floor almost hitting me as she did and barged past Abraham before running down the stairs.

Abraham: "I wondered why she wanted to randomly meet up with you."
You: "Yeah, I... I don't know what's gotten into her all of a sudden!"
Abraham: "Beats me! Probably not something to lose sleep over though."

I sighed and looked over the fence at the walkers who were starring aimlessly into the forrest.

Abraham: "Talking of sleep, you better go and get some before you have a mental breakdown or something!"
You: "I dunno, do you think I should try talking to her?"
Abraham: "I guess it's up to you, personally though I'd just wait it out, if she really cares she will approach you herself. You gotta let them know your worth making an effort for."
You: "You know what, that's exactly what I'm going to do!"
Abraham: "You're a good kid. But I ain't gonna tell you again!"
You: "Okay, okay. I'll head back home now."
Abraham: "Sure you don't want me to walk you back?"
You: "Nah, I'm sure I'll survive."

I gave a quick smiled and waved at Abraham then made my way to the bottom of the tower.

When I reached the ground I squinted through the darkness to see if I could catch up with Enid.

She was there!

But to my horror she was stood with someone else.
