Just Forgive

[A/N] - This part is pretty short but it would be milking it if I made it any longer so I hope you don't hate me!

Enid clambered into the room trembling a little as though she blamed herself for all of this.

Enid: "I'm not really a medic but I'll try my best to get it cleaned up."

Yet again, she kneeled down next to me. Her arm reached around the back of my neck and lifted me up. I winced in pain as the wet cloth pushed against the cut in my head.

Enid: "I'm so damn sorry... I just didn't know it was..."
You: "Enid, it was a mistake... Mistakes happen, we just have to forgive, that's all..."

I wasn't too sure because my vision was blurred but it seamed like I had driven Enid to tears. Personally, I just couldn't take this. She didn't deserve to cry.

You: "Enid, I bloody love you so much and..."

I stopped myself from talking as she gazed into my eyes.
Damn did I want to spend the rest of my life with her...
The night was calling and we just stayed silent. I couldn't give an exact measurement of how long but it felt like forever.

Just like all the times we had melted away into each other, I leaned closer and we kissed for only a moment. It was nothing but to me it felt like everything. Hell! People would hardly class it as a second.

I backed away pushing my back further into the draw. The pain resurfaced but I fought against the shrieks inside my head.

Enid: "I've still not forgiven you though... It's going to take me a while to reconsider. I'll just say this... I-I do... I do l-love you..."

She inhaled sharply and closed her eyes tight. A few tears jumped down her cheeks.
I crossed my fingers and hoped somehow I wouldn't die.

You: "I really bloody love you too. Whatever it takes I'll do it..."

She gave a smirk and took hold of my hand. Her eyes trailed up to the ceiling then over to my bed.

Enid: "You should get some sleep."
You: "I should?"

Enid nodded and kissed my forehead then ran out of the room pulling her jacket from her waist and putting it over her body.
I gave a sigh then struggled to get up from my spot.
Somehow I completely ignored the pain, all I could focus on was the urge to make everything better.
The room was now empty so I took the opportunity to make my way to the blinds, aware of the fact that I would get to see Enid.

I lifted one of the wooden blinds slowly not wanting to make any noise.

She was right there and it would have sounded cheesy out loud. That's for sure, but right at that moment I finalised the idea of her being the most beautiful person I had ever seen.
Just... just perfect.

I let myself stare a little while longer.

Then before she looked in my direction, i dropped what I was doing and dashed into bed.

For the first time in a while, I fell asleep happy.
