Why? Why would she do that!?
I wanted to vomit just at the sight of it.

I'll run over there and beat the shit out of that freak kissing Enid until they couldn't even walk.

No I wouldn't, that's a dumb idea.

I just walked away making sure neither of them spotted me.
Hopefully the party was still going and Carl was still there.

I kinda felt like ripping my heart out right now and jumping on it until I couldn't breathe.

However I knew if I made noise they would know I'm here and that would defeat the whole purpose of my plan.

The walk back to the party seemed quicker than before; partially because I ran most of the way out of anger.

Carol: "Why hello stranger, just to give you a heads up Carl's over there and he looked pretty lonely I think you could cheer him up."

Carol gave me a suggestive wink and nudged me in the direction of Carl.
Obviously I didn't waste anytime getting to him.

Carl: "Sooo? How'd it go?"
You: "Carl, I need to talk to you for a sec!"
Carl: "Oh uh, okay what's it about?"
You: "Enid!"
Carl: "Oh."

I grabbed Carl by his sleeve and dragged him to a secluded area.

Carl: "You look like you've just come face to face with a walker, are you alright."

Carl lifted his arm to rest it on my shoulder by I immediately brushed him off.

You: "Oh boy am I far from alright!"
Carl: "It may help if you tell me what happened."
You: "Okay so you know how Enid wanted to meet with me?"

Carl nodded hesitantly.

You: "Well it was going prefect but then she kinda just like turned on me!"
Carl: "Turned on you?"
You: "As in like she was acting rude, she didn't get bit or anything."
Carl: "Well maybe she was j..."
You: "No! That's not all! When I left to head back home. I saw her..."
Carl: "Saw her?"
You: "Let me finish, jeez. I saw her fucking kissing Ron!"

Carl raised an eyebrow then sighed.

Carl: "Oh."
You: "Oh?!"
Carl: "Oh."
You: "What do you bloody mean? Oh?!"
Carl: "What I mean is why are you so mad with her?"

I was confused what the fuck happened to the real Carl and why this intruders voice was so calm.

You: "Are you serious?"

Carl just nodded while his eyebrow was still raised slightly.

You: "Wh?"
Carl: "Its kind of a double standard really."
You: "A double standard?"
Carl: "Well you kissed me behind Enid's back and it was fine when you did it so why is it such a big deal when she does it?"
You: "Because, because I love her."
Carl: "Love her? For real? If you loved someone you wouldn't do that."
You: "But... should I confront her about it?"
Carl: "As much as I wish I could take your side I really can't. If you confront her then I'm going to tell her everything that you've done behind her back."

I gulped.
Some kids get worried over which lollipop they like the most.
Some kids worry about who they have to sit near in class.

Then here I am worrying about wether the person I've claimed to love since I met them is going to find out that I'm actually a fucking liar and a cheat.

You: "I should have told her shouldn't I?"
Carl: "Only just realising that now?"

I refrained from crying not because I wanted to seem brave but more because I didn't want Carl to pity me.

Carl: "You should go to bed."
You: "Yeah."

You bit into your lip stopping them from shaking.

Carl: "Goodnight."

I walked closer to him and waited a little while but then eventually hugged him.
I sort of expected him to push me away but he didn't.
Sure, it was the most awkward hug I had ever experienced in my entire life but regardless it was something.

I felt my eyes begin to well up and I began to leave so that I wouldn't cry in front of him.

It was cold.
Well the wind was pretty warm.
However my skin began to develop goose bumps and I wrapped my arms together trying to stay warm.

My head slumped down the entire walk.

The crickets chirping didn't clam me anymore they just made me angry; then that anger turned into more sadness.

When I made it to the porch, I wasn't sure if I could even get myself up the stairs.

I shivered aggressively and whimpered.

As I lifted my head up to wipe my tears I saw Abraham stood above me on the decking with his arms crossed.

Abraham: "I've been waiting over half an hour for you to get back, where have you been!?"
You: "Half... half an hour?"

My teeth chattered together filling the stammer in between my words.

Abraham: "Yeah! I though something happened, you said you were coming right back home!"

I felt my eyes heat up again due to Abrahams angry, loud voice.

You: "I'm, I'm not your child! Just leave me alone!!'"

I barged passed him similar to the way Enid did earlier.

I burst into the room not caring if I woke anyone up and sprung onto my bed.

Enid: "I SWEAR TO GOD IM GONNA FUCKING KILL THEM!"
