Chapter 22
Zendaya.
I awakened, lying onto my bare stomach. I was facing the window where the sun was peering into the room through the sheer curtains. I sat for a moment just to recall my night with Rayan. I smiled to myself, closing my eyes again. I began to drift back to sleep, but then I felt the bed covers move and a presence beside me shift. And then the sound of snoring increased in volume. I scrunched up my face and rolled over onto my back. I looked at Rayan who was lost in a deep sleep. I nudged him with my elbow to get him from snoring, but he didn’t even budge. I sighed, deciding to deal with his snoring by scooting a bit closer to him and snuggling up to him. I placed his arm around my waist and rested my head against his chest. I lied there, comfortable and warm. He readjusted his position slightly, holding me tighter. His face rested in the curve of my neck as he groaned lowly. “I don’t like the mornings,” he groaned, pulling back slightly and looking into my eyes with a sly smirk. “I can tell,” I spoke softly. He looked into my eyes for several seconds before closing them again. “I just want to sleep,” he smiled slightly, pulling me closer to him. “You want me to sleep along with you?” I raised my eyebrows. He slowly nodded, his eyes still closed. “Let’s just cuddle… I’ve never done it before, but it looks really cozy,” he chuckled at his own statement. I cracked a smile, admiring how adorable he looked while asleep or in his “cuddle mode”, I guess.
“Rayan… Last night was incredible,” I admitted. “Yeah, it was…” he agreed as I ran my fingers through his hair. “Z?” he raised his eyebrows. “Yeah?” I questioned. “I don’t want you to think that I’m just going to marry on the spot when I ask this, but… do you plan on getting married? It doesn’t necessarily have to be to me, but--.” “Yes, Rayan… I want to get married… Preferably to you, so I can fuck you every night,” I smirked. A laugh slipped from his lips as he held me just a tad bit tighter. “And why do you want to fuck me, your future husband, every night?” he asked. “Because… you’ve seen everything already, and I’m comfortable with you… And we can try different things,” My voice got quieter and quieter with each statement. He smiled as I blushed. “What kind of things?” he asked. “I don’t know,” I giggled, looking down. I could see a bulge in his boxer briefs, causing me to bury my head into a pillow out of shyness and slight embarrassment. “What? You saw it?” he asked, smirking at me. I nodded, heat rising to my cheeks with a broad smile on my face. “Why are you acting so shy? You’ve already seen it,” he chuckled. “I know, but it--.” “It scares you?” he raised an eyebrow. I playfully hit him as he laughed. “Rayyyan, I’m serious,” I whined, trying not to crack a smile. “What are you scared of? You loved it last night. What happened?” he scooted closer to me and caressed my hot cheek. “I don’t know. I mean, me and him haven’t really gotten acquainted in all the ways I’ve wanted to,” I bit my lip. “Don’t worry. You’ll get to know him better with time,” he winked. I smiled as he got up out of bed and made his way into the bathroom.
I lied in bed, catching up on a few more minutes of sleep. Just as I was being put into a deep slumber, the bed bounced and a presence lied beside me. My eyes fluttered open as Rayan’s arm snaked around my waist and his face rested in the curve of my neck. “Do you want me to make you breakfast?” he asked. “Nah, I’m good,” I groaned. “I’m making some anyway,” he kissed my cheek. “Okay… I don’t care,” I closed my eyes again. “What’s wrong, Z?” he asked. “Nothing,” I shook my head. “Are you sure because you’re usually up by now… Are you upset?” he asked. “What do I need to be upset about?” I asked. “Not getting to meet ‘the masterpiece’ the way you wanted to,” he answered. I smirked. “The masterpiece, huh?” I turned to face him. “Uh huh,” he nodded nonchalantly. “Let me see him,” I reached for the waistband on his boxer briefs. “Not right now,” he smiled, pushing my hand back almost as if he were shy. “Don’t get shy on me now, Rayan,” I smiled, grabbing his hand and struggling to keep him from leaving the bed. “I’m not. I’m going to make breakfast,” he began pulling back, bringing me with him with each pull. “I can’t get a peak though?” I asked. “You got everything you needed last night,” he smiled before pulling away from my grip. I groaned as he winked at me and left the room.
