With a smile on my face, I followed Mi Rae with a gaze until she closed the door. I took a deep breath and relaxed as I closed my eyes. Until...
“My things!” I panicked and on my bed I searched where my things could possibly went.
Everywhere I turned my head; I didn’t see a trace of my things inside my room.
“Oh no, I think they’re in the condominium... Why too soon?” I told in my mind.
In a few while, the door opened.
“Hey, the doctor said that you can now go home, once you finished the dextrose.” Mi Rae gladly informed.
“A—Alright.” I replied worriedly.
“Why is there something wrong?”
“N—Nothing...” I replied with a smile.
I know that Mi Rae was here with me the whole time in the hospital. It would be too much, if I told her regarding my things left in the condominium.
“Mi Rae, I think I’m better now. I know that you still have something to do.” I politely told Mi Rae.
“No, don’t worry, Chin. I’m not really busy today.” Mi Rae replied.
“No, it’s okay. I can now take care of myself.” I insisted.
In a few seconds, Mi Rae’s phone rang...
“Hello?” Mi Rae answered the call.
“I’m sorry but I can’t... I’m watching over my friend here in the hospital” She said.
“Really? Okay, fine. I’ll see you. Bye” Mi Rae ended the conversation
“Okay, Chin. You won! I really need to go now. Just promise me that you’ll rest, okay?” Mi Rae worried.
“Don’t worry. I’m a strong girl, now.” I replied.
“Or maybe I’ll just call Seung Joon to take you home. Just to be sure...” Mi Rae suggested.
“No, I’m fine. Plus, he’s probably in his class right now. I’ll just take a cab...” I replied.
“Alright, I need to go now. Just take a nap while waiting for your dextrose to empty.” Mi Rae said and waved her goodbye.
After placing Chin’s things in the living room, TOP went to his kitchen to cook his usual breakfast, fried eggs and a pack of instant noodles and again, he started to fill his trash bin with wrappers of processed foods. He took his time eating since; he has no schedule for the entire day. For the entire morning, he just stayed inside his condominium...
An hour passed and still my dextrose is not yet empty but approximately, with only few ml left, I think it would be all used up for the next five minutes.
5 minutes after...
The door opened and a nurse on her thirties went inside. I checked my dextrose and I’m right, it’s all empty. In less than an hour which was passed lunch time, I got discharged. Actually, other than the dextrose, I also finished my lunch in my room which served by the hospital. That’s why I don’t need to worry of fainting again.
“What a right time for discharge... I think Mr. Ki --- I mean Mr.Choi will be out of his condominium in a few while.” I told myself as I’m waiting for a cab with the hospital slippers after finding that I also left my snickers too.
Suddenly...
**FLASHBACK**
“You thi---“
**END OF FLASHBACK**
“Alright, enough for the flashback, okay?! I’m feeling so guilty now...” I shouted in my mind.
Like the last time, TOP decided to leave his condominium later than 1 pm, because, at this hour which is 12:30pm, he’s still preparing to go to the hospital. Without knowing that the walk-in closets other door few inches opened, TOP went straight to his bathroom to take a bath...
“I’m here! Time check, 1:15pm. Not bad, surely, he’s not in his condominium now. I just hope that he would forgot ‘that incident’ soon...” I told myself as I unlocked the Unit 914’s entrance door using my key.
1:15pm...
TOP stepped out from his bathroom wearing a thick robe. He searched some disguise outfits in his walk-in closet. He first decided to wear a pair of red jeans. Then, he removed his robe wearing nothing on top.
As I walked in the condominium, I got anxious of not seeing my things on the doorstep because, I remembered that I just placed them on this spot. I continued to walk inside and found all my things in the living room including my sneakers which was on the floor near the sofa. I grabbed everything but I noticed that the door leading to the walk-in closet was quite opened. Puzzled, I went near the door and checked if someone was inside...
