‘Grrrrggrrrr’ my stomach grumbled.

It’s exactly 7:45pm when I checked my watch. Honestly, for the last six hours, I haven’t eaten or placed any edible substance in my digestive system and now I can hear that my stomach is now complaining.

“Hungry? Wanna eat first?” TOP asked me as we walk around the night market.

TOP got a good sense of hearing. Imagine, with the crazy sounds here in the market, he heard the grumbling sound of my stomach.

“Because, I’m hungry... I know a great place to eat.” He added.

Without waiting for my reply, he continued to walk. I followed him, Of Course. In a small aisle somewhere at the farthest part of the market lie chains of small restaurants jam packed with customers.

After passing few restaurants, finally, TOP stopped...

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been here. C’mon! I personally know the owner of this place.” He excitedly told me and went inside.

I read the restaurant’s board sign and it says, ‘Delicious Sushi’.

“Oh no, TOP, are you kidding me? I know that you really love sushi so much but not for this day.” I told in my mind.

Just for information, I’m ready to eat all edible things that I see but never ever give or serve me raw fish. I don’t eat raw sea creatures because, I find them fishy although, they are freshly served.

For a while, I remained outside to think of what and how would I tell TOP that I don’t eat what he loves to eat. I’m not a hypocrite. I don’t push myself to try everything and to love everything what my bias likes. Although, he’s my ultimate idol...

“Hey, aren’t you coming?” TOP went out and asked me.

“B—But..”I worriedly replied.

“c’mon they serve the freshest ingredients here!” He convinced.

With an awkward smile, I replied and followed him. I just prayed that they serve something else other than sushi. If not, I’ll just stare at TOP while eating his favourite sushi.

“Napaka-swerte ko talagang fan! (I’m such a lucky fan.)” I told myself just to lift my spirit.

“Are you saying something?” TOP curiously asked.

“N—Nothing...” I replied.

Not too long, the owner in her 50’s of the restaurant approached TOP and they started to have a quite short conversation. Of Course, it is expected that they’ll converse using their language which made me again not too understand them.

Actually, I can see based on the tone of their voice and gestures that the owner really knows him a lot because, she recognized TOP with his disguise.

“Seung Hyun!! Long time, No see!” the owner greeted TOP.

“Ahjumma, thanks for your warm welcome. I’m actually with a friend.” TOP replied and placed his hand on Chin’s shoulder who just replied with a smile.

“She’s beautiful. Thanks for bringing your foreigner friend in my restaurant.” She gladly replied.

Did she just said ‘beautiful’? I think she’s pertaining to me. I would be so rude, if I don’t thank her.

“Kamsahamnida.” I thanked.

“Wow, her pronunciation is good for a foreigner! C’mon, follow me.” She said.

TOP and I followed her. I lead us somewhere inside. No, inside her house which is located upstairs.

“I know that you’re very famous now. My customers might found who you are when you remove your face mask once you start to eat. Just feel at home then, I’ll just serve you your favourite.” She told TOP.

“You? Anything you like?” She asked me in English.

“Noodles? Ramen? “ I asked.

“No sushi? Noodles only?” She asked.

“Yes, please.” I replied and smiled.

After getting my order, the owner went out. Gosh, I thought that I would be left here with nothing to eat. Now, the problem is the chopsticks. Before I forgot, until now, I haven’t learned how to use the chopsticks. But in situations like this, I’m always ready. I always carry with me my own spoon and fork.

“Wow, you’re the only person that I know who doesn’t eat sushi.” TOP told me and removed his face mask.

“Yes, I don’t eat raw fish.” I replied.

“To tell you frankly, when my fans knew that I eat this kind of stuffs, they also try to eat them, although, they’re just forced to do so because I like it...”

“It’s them not me. I know myself and I don’t want to pretend to be like someone else...”

“You’re really something...”

I smiled and brought out my utensils, my spoon and fork.
