"A world of hate awaits; we are the Wild Ones. They all look the same. Our time has come." ~ Wretched and Divine

*Katrina's POV*
I'm not sure exactly how long passed after that night before our lives truly went to shit.
Explaining to Andy, who had practically no memory of the day prior, was probably the most difficult thing to do. How do you explain that he died and was brought back to life by the girl he had befriended that, oh, by the way, was a motherfucking witch who had no memory of her abilities until 12 hours ago when the Oracle told her she was meant to lead the rebellion against Johnson? Yeah, not exactly the easiest circumstances to explain.
Despite the strangeness of it, Andy handled it well. "I guess I can't say I'm surprised," He said softly, after we finished explaining.
"What do you mean?" I inquired.
"I feel like I always kind of knew there was something about you, Kat. You always had this sort of aura about you, almost like static electricity. I don't know, it just seems like deep down, I knew it already."
The Oracle was very interested to hear that from Andy, for what reasons we may never know.
The Oracle took it upon herself to train me to use my abilities. As my memories returned, I discovered that just before my knowledge of the subject had been taken, I had been experimenting with the possibility of telekinesis; I had been convinced that my abilities stretched beyond healing. The Oracle too, believed this, even though I had never managed to do anything before besides healing.
She taught me everything she knew about healing, which was a lot. To sum it up, I could heal most any injury with my own will power. In ties with this, I could heal people to the point of bringing them back to life if their heart stops. However, as the Oracle explained, every ability has a cost. More specifically, every time I heal something, it takes energy. The more times I use my ability or the more extensive of a wound I heal, the more energy it takes. If I use my ability too much, I get worn out very quickly. According to the Oracle, if I use my ability too much without allowing myself time to recoup or I try to heal something too extensive, I can actually cause my body to shut down. That's what had been happening all those years ago with the doe until the Oracle saved me. That's also why I need to utilize other people's power to make someone's heart beat again. There wasn't very many opportunities to practice, though. It was only on occasion with bruises or scratches. Most of my practice was more theory than anything.
We tried and tried and tried to extend my abilities to telekinesis, but every attempt was met with failure, and perhaps that was the most frustrating thing.
After our run in with the law in the market, we rarely went outside, especially the five of us that had been out that day. The police had visited and searched the house the next morning, and those of us who were fugitives managed to hide in the attic to wait them out. Jake and CC assured them that we hadn't come back since we'd left for the market the day prior, and that if we did, they would turn us in. The cops didn't seem to believe them too much, but with our absence and the appearance that we'd left everything behind, we did seem to be on the run and they left with house eventually. We thought we had been laying low before; it was nowhere close to what we were doing now. Our lights stayed off at night and our curtains shut. It was as though paranoia had set in inside the house. We spoke in hushed whispers and jumped at the slightest sound. We were afraid; whether we admitted it or not, deep down we were all afraid. In matter of a few months, we had lost nearly everything, everything except each other.
