"I've come for blood, blood, blood! And I'm not leaving till I have your heart. You're going to pay for all that you have done, done, done! I'll feel alive when I have blood, your blood; Because revenge is all I haven't lost." ~ Johnny's Revenge by Crown the Empire

*Andy's POV*

Adrenaline was practically the only thing keeping me going at that point.

That and the knowledge that Katrina needed me.

We'd run across the entire city, ducking through the alleys and shooting down every enemy that appeared.  My lungs were burning and my legs were aching, but the adrenaline overpowered everything.  We had to keep moving.  We had a mission.

Clara needed help.  We didn't know what had happened or how bad the situation was, just that she called SOS before her signal was cut off.  She was the Commander still.  We may be the prophesied leaders of the Legion, but we weren't kidding ourselves.  The Legion was loyal to her, not us.  We hadn't earned that place yet.  We needed her.

We rounded the corner to the building that we stayed hidden in for so long and immediately came to a stop.

"Shit," Ashley cursed as we ducked into the shadows.  A battalion of officers stood in front of the entrance, guarding it.  We were too late.

"Is she still in there?" Jake whispered, watching the movements of the officers across the street.

"I think so," I replied.  "We need to get her out."

"There's no other entrances," Katrina said.  "And we can't take on that many officers.  It's suicide."

"Well we have to get in somehow," Jinxx stated, watching the movements of the enemy across the street.

I toyed with the sword in my belt, thinking through the possibilities of the situation.  We'd been trained to run through strategies and situations, know the probability and the potential outcome of each plan.  But everything I ran through by head came out in failure, all with the same result of capture or death.  I could visualize each of us lying on the street, bleeding out as the officers shot us down.  This was impossible.

"I have an idea," CC said slowly.  All eyes turned to him, a spark of hope ignited in us.  "But you have to trust me.  It's going to seem insane but I know what I'm doing."

"And what's the plan?" I asked.

"We walk out in surrender.  We get within 20 feet.  I can take it from there."

"That's suicide!" Katrina protested.

Ashley nodded in agreement.  "They'll kill us on sight."

Jake spoke up.  "They have orders to take us alive if possible.  That what the guy on the roof told me."

"Then why did one try to kill the Mystic and I?" Katrina voiced.

"They just received the orders when they found out we were here," Jake replied.

I sighed, not thoroughly convinced as to how this could possibly work.  "Destroyer, are you sure?" I asked CC.

"I am," he replied.  "I can get us in."

I nodded.  CC isn't often serious, but he is now.  He truly believed that he could do it, whatever it was that he was going to do.  It was our only shot.  We had to take it.

"Okay," I said.  "Lets do it."

He nodded in reply.  "Okay.  Keep your weapons holstered and your hands up in surrender.  Don't say anything.  Follow me."
