Ashton
I couldn't stop crying.
She can't be gone. Not my Bryana.
"Ashton? What happened?" I heard Connor ask.
I could feel someone hugging my trembling body, making me feel warm. A waterfall of purple hair fell into my face. I pushed it back on Connor's shoulder, then hugged her back.
"They said she w-" I broke into tears again.
"Shhh. It's gonna be okay, Ashton." Whoever was holding me, probably Connor, rubbed my back.
It made me feel a lot better. I stopped crying and hugged her back. Her purple hair smelled like grapes. She started humming, which made me feel very sleepy.
"Oh, Miss Believer, my pretty sleeper. Your twisted mind is like snow on the road. Your shaking shoulders prove that it's colder inside your head than the winter of dead." She sang.
My eyelids felt so heavy, and I could hear my heart thumping at a steady beat. I closed my eyes, and laid my head on her shoulder. I eventually fell asleep, but it was silent.
I didn't hear anything. I didn't see anything. I could feel anything.
Silence.
I couldn't help but think, does anything matter anymore?
The love of my life is dead.
I don't have anywhere to live.
My best friends hate me.
My heart is in shatters.
There's nothing to live for.
I might as well die in my sleep.
No one will remember me.
I could hear the silence turn to static. My body felt numb, and I couldn't move. The static was so loud, it was almost as horrible as the silence.
Just kill me now.
I don't want to stay here, living a life without Bryana.
She was there for me, now she's not.
I want to join her up there, in heaven.
My body felt like it was being squished into the ground by a 100 tour busses. The static grew louder, right in my ear. The numbness overtook the feeling of all gravity trying to flatten me.
I wanted to scream. I wanted to wake up from this horrid dream. Better yet, just die.
I couldn't move anything. The static was as loud as the fans when we got on stage. The numbness was as strong as the heat in the stadiums we played in.
I want to wake up!
I tried to scream. It was all too much. It felt like my body was collapsing on itself. My bones just crumbling into dust, my heart shattering to pieces. It was all so painful.
Finally, I opened my eyes. I was still in the hospital room, but no one was here. I was crying and gasping for breath. Sweat rolled down my face.
I realized I was in a hospital gown. My shoes were on the floor, a puddle of water surrounding them.
My arms began feeling numb, and I was sure I wasn't dreaming anymore. My legs felt way too heavy to lift, and my head was light as a feather. My nose was so stuffed, even breathing through my mouth felt weird.
I screamed for help, my breathing beginning to go crazy.
No one came.
I stopped screaming.
Silence washed over the room. The walls looked so sinister in the dark. The hard mattress I was laying on felt like a rock.
I silently cried, my entire body in pain.
Just kill me now.
