It was even better than I pictured it.

The dark green paint had swirls of gold through the middle of it.

I considered myself lucky. It was an amazing room. The huge window looked out over the woods. I could see the mountains dusted with snow in the distance. I see a pond probably about 5 miles away. Not far.

It looks like you could only see it from this very room.

It was surrounded by trees, their leaves reaching the ground.

There was a small gap that I could see through. It was a secret grotto. Maybe, when it gets really warm I could find it. I could swim there. Honestly, it sounded fun. It was fun just thinking about doing it, I mean wolves don't LOVE water. We prefer the woods but I still really love swimming. I'll say my swimming for hotter days though!

I was relieved. Just thinking about it made me feel, free. I was no longer a prisoner. No one can push me around. Plus it's Saturday so I can hang out with Rosa since she doesn't have school. My room was on the 5th floor in the packhouse.

I think there were about 6 levels. It's almost more like an apartment complex than a house.  But I don't really know. I haven't looked around and it was dark when I came last night. I got up and had a shower. There were tons of different gels, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, bath salts, I didn't know what was what.

But I knew the shampoo and conditioner because it said on the packet. And I used to have it at my old place. I guess it burnt with the rest of my house. But, isn't shampoo a liquid? We'll get back to that.

I wash my hair with the shampoo and conditioner. Then I cleaned the rest of me with what I hoped was the soap. I had liquid soap in a bottle at my old house so I didn't know what was soap here. It was confusing. I survived though. I went into the closet. It was huge! The size of my cell!

Seriously. All the clothes I bought the day before were hanging up. Right at the very front though was my cloak and mask. It had been washed. The material was now soft and clean once more. I stroked it happily. I wondered when I would get this back! Or if they still had it. If it was gone I'd be heartbroken. It's like an old friend. Even if it does remind me of the dreadful past.

I figured I should be more open on my first real day and not wear it. But you don't know how much I argued with myself over it.

RING!

RING!

RING!

What on earth is that?!

It nearly gave me a heart attack!

I look to see my cell phone vibrating and glowing. I flipped it open.

"Ah hello"?

"Emma! I was wondering if you had figured out a cell yet! Anyway me and my friends are going to the movies. Wanna come"?

"Um do they want me to"?

"Oh, they won't mind. I will meet you outside your room in half an hour sharp. Got it"?

"Yep".

"Great", she squealed.

"See you then", I say.

"Bye"!

Okay, half an hour to pick an outfit.

Okay so dress casual since we are just going to the movies.

Or is the movies a fancy place for rich people?

Okay we'll go with casual.

That'll do.
