Ravens pov:

The last wolf wandered away. I darted back into my tree.

I grab my bow and arrows (as well as some knives I stashed in my boots). Then I decide to leave my bow and arrows behind. I need spare hands.

I got a few daggers, hiding them in my pockets. I shove my hood on. Then my mask.

Wolf or not I was going. There would be no further delays.

No wolves were guarding so I snuck out. The sun was setting. I stop and admire it for a brief second before carefully making my way through the trees.

I was to strike in two hours. It would be pitch black. So I go in at 11. I'll give myself four hours to get in get the cash then get out. If all goes according to plan... I should have a fair bit of cash.

The family is very rich. I've spied on them for about a week now. I know where the cash is.

I wander around the house for two hours. Studying. Making sure I was correct and everything would go to plan.

I check my watch. 11:03 pm. Perfect. I get my knife out and pry it under the window I made sure was left a crack open. I heave it up an inch. Getting my fingers under it, I push it up silently. I head for the kitchen. I don't hear a sound. Good.

I open the cupboard and take out a small wooden box. Inside was about $100,000k . Woah! I take $10 000 then start to head out the kitchen door.

Suddenly a man comes in. Probably about eighteen years old. His hairs all messed up, and he's only wearing sweats. I freeze. He looked my way.

"Well well well. Who've we got here"?

I look him in the eye. Glaring harshly.

"The names anonymous. But people around here call me Raven Hood".

"You know you are wanted like everywhere in the country. I could get quite a bit for turning you in you know" he smirks.

I smile sarcastically at him.

"You've got plenty".

"Which your stealing I see". He says.

I look down at the money in my hand. First mistake.

He grabs the back of my hood. Strangling me around the neck. I choke, coughing violently and pull out my knife.

I get his arm. He yelps in pain. Wait, yelps? Werewolf! I take my chance. I wiggle from his grip and roll between his legs. I do a flip and get back up. The guy grabs my hood. Again! Man, this guy will not give up!

"For years my mother told me stories about Robin Hood. A while back I heard about his sister. I know all your stories. But there's one thing I've always wanted to know. Who are you"?

He prepares to pull off my hood and mask. I struggle in his grip. Slashing my knife but missing.

"Cut it out, Finn. Can't you see she doesn't want you to know who she is"?

"She's robbing us, Jackson! She's a bad person"! The guy holding me said.

"Put. Her. Down".

The guy loosens his grip. I do a backflip. To get away. Then a forward one hitting him square on in the jaw. That'll leave a mark.

I put out my knives and throw them at him. I get him in the arms and leg.

He screams in pain and furry. I shoot him an icy glare and give him another kick and a light punch for good measure.

The guy who stood up for me. Jackson, I think his name was, I leave alone. He stands back and watches as his brother ( I'm assuming ) gets beaten up by a girl. He never made a move to stop me. His gaze never left me. I look at him. Then jump out the window after hearing footsteps coming down the stairs. I hit the ground then roll. I stand up and run for my life.

I heard three words. 'Shes. My. Mate'. I didn't have a clue what he meant. That I'm his friend? No, I'm not friends with anyone. No one chases after me so I slow to a walk. I smile I've still got that 10 000 dollars. Yes.

Mission complete!

Jackson pov:

My mate was being strangled by my brother! Mad doesn't nearly explain how I feel. She just broke into our house!

Well, she's got to be clever. Those were my dad's words.

I can't believe my brother threatened her. In fact, I think I may go have a little 'chat' to him about that.

My brother was just coming in. "Relax dude. I know you're mad, but I didn't know the famous Raven Hood was your mate. I just wanted to see if I knew her".

I believed him. Mainly cause his heartbeat didn't speed up. "Sorry". I mumble.

Then I thought about what he had said. My mate was the famous Raven Hood. The rich wanted her dead. She was wanted all over the country. Great (note my sarcasm). The poor prayed for her survival so she could help then for further generations to come.

Some thought she was a god.

Creepy. My mate a god? Huh. Well god or not, I'm in love already.

Of course, I don't know what she looks like. I only know she has one green eye and one grey. She was wearing a hood and mask which made her hard to identify. I would always remember that scent though. Honey and the trees, with a hint of meat and nutmeg.

The dead meat thing sounds horrid. But it was really rather pleasant it was a nice cooked roast kind of smell. It was homely. Anyway. That's the only way I can identify her.

I have seen Raven Hood in town before. She goes to a store, that sells basically anything anyone could want. I've seen her go about three times. She doesn't go to many other places.

I've met a few families that have benefited from her kindness. It feels good knowing she does good deeds. She only goes places just before sunset. When its nearly dark. Or in early hours of the morning. So looking out during the day isn't really worth it. Well, that's what my brother Finn told me.

I'm surprised my mate, Raven, could take him down. He's the best fighter in our pack. Apart from the Alpha and the Beta. I knew 3 things. She's kind. She's clever. And she's strong.

My mate is impressing me already and I don't even know her. I go talk to my dad.

"What's up son"?

"I'm, scared. I'll never be able to protect her. She's wanted around the whole country. She'll never trust me! She's Raven Hood she doesn't trust anyone. How am I supposed to make a relationship with her if she very rarely comes out from her hiding spot? She travels around. Big men are wanting her for the 1 million dollar reward"! I rant.

"First of all calm down".

"How can I"... I start.

"Shhh. Second, there's no need to worry about her being caught. For 5 years now she has wandered around the country and has never been caught. You need to have some faith. And if she ever does get in trouble, you, the werewolf, will save her. I'm not sure how you can get to know her. But I suggest you go and wait in the clearing. In human form. Talk to yourself. I'm 100% sure that she will come out. Then talk to her. Sit in the grass and talk to her. Ask her questions but don't give her time to answer. Talk about your life. But don't give too much away. Do this day after day. For a week. On the last day, bring her something. Like sugar or salt or flowers from that store she goes to. Bring her a gift that would be useful for her".

"Okay, thanks Dad. I'll start right now. Bye", I say rushing out the door.

"I still expect you to go to school though"!

I scowl, typical dad.
