"Guys! Look there's something over there. In the bushes".

"What"?

"See just there it's black", I say pointing to the object.

I stand up and cautiously walk over to it. Liam growls right behind me.

"Oh please! I can handle it".

His eyes immediately dull. I pat him on the shoulder.

"But thanks for caring".

He smiles genuinely. You have to be careful what you say around werewolves. Because they have very sensitive emotions. And good hearing. I push back the bushes and ivy. It moves away easily, revealing a huge iron gate.

"Guys look. It's a gate".

I check the map. Sure enough, there is a gate marked out on here. I laugh. I turn on my laptop which was in the top bag.

"Look! Here it is. It's an old mansion built in the 19th century. It says here its been abandon for over one hundred years. The co-ordinates are here". I quickly look on the werewolf map. I almost scream in delight.

"Guys it's on our territory! Right about there", I say pointing to a spot on the map.

I hug Liam. Things just got a lot easier for us. Checking that no one was watching we pulled back all the vines and bushes. Much to our dismay, the gate had a padlock. And of course, it was locked.

"We have to smash it", Liam says.

I nod in agreement.

"But with what"?

We search around in the bags and around the gate for something that we could use.

"Here's a broken pipe".

We try it. We banged and bashed. The pipe smashed into a million pieces. But not before we broke the lock. It was rusty and dirt filled up the keyhole. Roaches crawled out of the chains and the rusted lock. Ewww. The boys heaved open the gate. It totally needed oil.

The road was clear. It was smooth as we drove down it. It must have had cement on it but dirt and dust had long since covered it. Trees hid the sky as we drove down the road. Which is ideal since it would hide us from the sky as well. We did close the gates behind us and made it look like it was still locked after trying to conceal it with leaves, roots, and branches.

We drive for a good fifteen minutes. We didn't go full speed of course and finally after a full 20 minutes of driving we arrived. The sight before my eyes left me eyes wide and mouth open. We drove around the roundabout. The grass was a little overgrown and the bushes random but it was beautiful. In the middle of the roundabout was a fountain with a mermaid at the top. I could already see it being changed into a wolf. With water spraying out of its mouth.

"This is perfect", I mutter.

But I knew everyone heard me.

"You can say that again"...
