The Vlogs

Jordyn POV:

I laid down in my bed and ate my Mac and cheese, watching old videos from the tour. Gosh I miss those days. I miss those people. I miss who I was. I was in the middle of one of Demarius' blogs when a clip I recognized came on.

"And over here with have the lovebirds!" DeMarius said as the camera turned towards me and Ben. That was my first travel day with Newsies, the day we confirmed we were dating, and the day I found out about my brothers accident. I laughed at myself as dorky 17 year old me waved at the camera.

"I NEED COFFEE!" My little voice screamed at the camera. Why Jordyn, why. And then there came Josh.

"AND SHES DATING BEN COOK!" He said appearing in frame. I paused the vlog and stared at the screen. There was me, all cuddled up with Ben. Look at how happy I was. I skipped to another blog that I had never watched before. DeMarius posted it last month. It was a bunch of clips of videos he had never posted. Oh my gosh. There's when we went to the zoo, and the beach, and there's me dancing around the stage like an idiot. What were you thinking Jordyn? And then a clip appeared of Sky holding my hands as I stood on a skateboard. He was filming that? How did he even...what? I watched as I laughed and smiled as I started to get the hang of it. I paused the video right when Sky was looking at me at one spot. Look at the way he's looking at me, he loved me, he really cared. That boy deserves an award for all the crap he put up with with me. There was a knock on the door and I quickly turned off the tv.

"Come in!" I said. The door opened and Maura peeked into my bedroom.

"Do you hate me? Cuz if you do I brought triple fudge brownies as an apology." She said holding up a tray of brownies.

"I don't hate you." I laughed. "But I still want the brownies!" Maura set the brownies down on my dresser and jumped in bed next to me.

"You know I would never want to hurt you right?" Maura said.

"I know, and I'm happy for you and Parker." I said.

"So if you aren't mad at me, why are you all mopey?" Maura asked. "Is it Ben?"

"Skys back in town." I said staring at my now empty bowl of mac and cheese.

"Why aren't you excited?" Maura asked.

"Because, I might have feelings for him." I said not making eye contact with Maura. "And I think he likes me back. And Ben still likes me and I kinda still like him. But I'm dating Peyton."

"Oh no. Please tell me you didn't." Maura said. She stood up and turned on my tv to reveal the vlog I had been watching, still paused on sky. "Why do you keep doing this? Everytime you watch these your feelings for Ben rush back. But wait, that's not Ben."

"The one before it was." I said. "MAURA IM CONFUSED! Here I am, 21, and I'm just as stupid as I was when I was 17." I said.

"Do you love Peyton?" Maura asked.

"Good question." I heard a voice say. I turned to see Peyton standing in my bedroom doorway. Maura quickly turned off the tv and stood in front of it.

"Hey babe." I smiled. "How did you get in?"

"IF I HAD KNOWN IT WAS HIM AT THE DOOR I WOULDNT HAVE ANSWERED!" Parker screamed pushing past him and sitting down on my bed next to me.

"Parker how long have you been here?" I laughed. Why are all these people suddenly in my bedroom? Nobody was home 5 minutes ago.

"Just got here." Parker said glaring at Peyton. I smacked Parkers arm as a hint to leave Peyton alone.

"I was just stopping by to see if you want to go to dinner tonight?" Peyton smiled. His blonde hair was falling in his eyes and his dimples just made me smile even more. Dimples on a guy are so hot. You know who else has dimples....

"Can we try breakfast tomorrow? I'm super busy today." I said.

"Sure thing." He started to take a step towards me but then looked at Parker and stopped. "Um I'm just gonna go. See you tomorrow." He said and turned and left.

"WIMP!" Parker screamed and I punched his stomach.

"Leave my boyfriend alone!" I said.

"Why can't you go out with him tonight?" Maura asked.

"I'm going out to eat with Sky, Josh, and Ben." I said.

"Girl gets around." Maura laughed.

"Why don't you just break up with Peyton and date Ben." Parker said.

"Why don't you shut the fuck up." I said.

"Harsh words from a little girl." Parker laughed. I punched him in the gut again and he fell off the bed.

"It's been 21 years Parker. Are you ever gonna learn?" I laughed.

"So who's it gonna be J?" Maura asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You can only date one person. Who's it gonna be." Maura asked. Ben was my first love, my only love. We went through rough patches but he loved me with all his heart and never hurt me. Except for the time he broke up with me. I remember sitting with him on travel days, falling asleep in his arms, watching the sunset together, kissing onstage after shows, all the piggy back rides he gave me. He made me happier than I have ever been. But he also made me more broken than I have ever been. Sky has been one of my best friends since the tour started. He's always been there for me. He loved me, but he aside his feelings for mine and Ben's happiness, that shows how much he truly loved me. I remember one of the first days I knew him he was locked out of his room and stayed the night in my room, and when we were in the prank wars and we were taping pictures of Ben and Josh around the theatre. And Peyton, he's sweet and amazing.

"Can we go decorate the tree now? Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and there are no ornaments on that tree." Parker said.

"Start decorating without me, I have to wrap one of your Christmas presents." I said. They smiled and headed out and I was alone. I know what I need to do. I need to break up with Peyton.
