(Johnnie's POV)
I lightly pick up his uninjured hand, and hold it in my own, just watching him. I sit for what seems like forever because of my level of nervousness.
"J-J-J-ohnnie?"
I look up and see Kyle starting to open his eyes. "Kyle." I say, still holding his hand. "W-w-wh-at- am I dead?"
"No, your not." I say, running my fingers through his hair.
"Why?" He asks
"Why what?"
"Why am I alive?"
