Chapter 14- To Phoenix Drop We Go

"Amethyst... Amethyst..." A voice hissed.

Everything was dark. I couldn't even see my own hands when I held them in front of my face.

"Who are you? ...Where are you?" I called out.

I felt something  breathing down my neck, and it sent a shiver down my spine.

"You didn't have to you know, endure all that pain, I mean. He's not worth it."

I recognized the voice immediately.

"You were going to kill him! What else could I do?!"

"I didn't want to have to put you through all pain, you know that..."

I blinked back tears, "Save your lies, you don't give a damn about me!"

"Then you don't actually believe that they, your new 'friends' actually care for you, do you?"

I gritted my teeth, "They definitely care more about me than you ever did!"

"Just remember the last time you made new 'friends'-"

"SHUT. UP."

"Maybe you should just, how should I say, erase your existence, like how you wanted to? I mean, let's just face it, you'll always be a worthless, piece of crap-"

"SHUT UP!!" Tears streamed down my face.

"Am? Am?! Are you okay?!"

I opened my eyes to find myself back in the werewolf village, and Dante was looking at me, and seemed to be extremely concerned.

"Huh? A yeah, I-I'm fine, why?"

Dante stared at me in disbelief, "Why?! Am, you were yelling in your sleep and you look like you've been crying, are you really okay?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay, don't worry about me."

"You sure?"

I mustered a small smile, "Yeah, I'm sure. Now, what's the game plan for today?"

"Garroth said to meet him at by the water to begin the construction of the boat to Phoenix Drop."

"Then we'd better get going, we shouldn't keep him waiting." Without waiting for him to respond, I quickly began to head towards the boat construction site.
