Chapter 23- Jealousy

"Oh c'mon Dante, stop being such a wuss!"

"I'm not being a wuss! It's just we're guys with male parts and you're a lady with female parts..."

Aphmau had given us new armor that had been gifted to us by Katelyn, and Dante was being a sissy about changing in front of me.

I rolled my eyes, "Oh please! I've saw your tool the moment you were born."

"AMETHYST!"

Dante, red in the face, was glaring hard at me, and Garroth and Laurance were dying of laughter at this point.

I held my hands up in defeat, "Alright, alright, I'll be downstairs, happy?"

"Thank you." Dante grumbled.

~After They've All Changed~

"Oh well, maybe next time I have a change of clothes I'll find something that will make you swoon over me and you'll be begging me to get married to you on the spot-"

I didn't wait to hear the rest of Laurance and Aphmau's conversation.

I stormed out of the guard tower, not realizing that Dante had followed me.

Once I was outside, I kicked a stone.

"DAMMIT! UGH! You are such an idiot!"

"Um Am, are you okay?" Dante inquired.

"Yeah, just peachy." I grumbled.

It's not like the guy that I really like is totally someone else or anything!

"C'mon Am, something's up, this was different from your usual outbursts, you just blew your top all of a sudden when Laurance was talking to... Wait!" He gasped.

"What?"

"I think I know what's going on here..." Dante smirked.

He grinned.

"I swear to Irene Dante!"

"You have a thing for-"

I clamped my hand over his mouth.

"Another word and I will rip your tongue out, got it?"

He nodded.

I let go of his mouth and turned my back to him.

"You were jealous, weren't you?"

I spun around, "WHAT?"

"You were jealous of Laurance and Aphmau, weren't you?"

"Me, jealous? Oh please, you must going screwy or something." I denied his absolutely 100% true accusation.

Dante raised an eyebrow, "Am..."

"OKAY FINE! I GIVE UP!" I threw my hands up in the air.

"So you do like him..." Dante smirked.

I sighed, "Yes, yes I do."

"Aw, my big sis has a crush-"

I interrupted him, "But I swear to Irene if you tell him, I won't hesitate to make your life as miserable as humanly possible. Okay?"

Dante's eyes widened with fear, "Yes ma'am!"

I smiled, "Good to know that we're on the same page."
