Jeremy and Kira's house was dark when we got there. Subtle excitement filled my body and I felt like a teenager all over again. Brad opened the front door and motioned for me to go first.

"Jeremy and Kira are in the city for the night. They had a wedding to go to," Brad explained.

I nodded, slipping off my sandals and pushing them to the sit where the other shoes were. He was taking off his shoes, messily tossing them to the side.

"I'll try to find a bunch of blankets if you want to go make some popcorn or whatever you want," he smiled.

Again, I nodded. For some reason I was being shy and I knew it was because we had this place all to ourselves tonight. Deep down I wanted him to make me his all over again. I longed to have his lips all over my naked body.

We went our separate ways. While Brad went off to find blankets, I went to the kitchen and put a bag of popcorn into the microwave. After it was done popping, I poured the bag into a large bowl. On my way upstairs, I took a few pieces and popped them into my mouth.

Brad was in his room, tossing a huge pile of blankets onto the bed, "I don't know how two people can have enough blankets for an army."

"It gets cold in upstate New York," I pointed out.

He shrugged, "well, then I guess this is a good thing. I grabbed at least fifteen but I don't know how you want to set this up."

I giggled a little, placing the bowl of popcorn on the dresser before going over to him. He was turning on his laptop as I started to work my interior decorating magic - well, fort making magic that is.

It took fifteen minutes and a little rearranging of furniture to create a fort on the side of the bed. Brad raised an eyebrow, opening the part where we would go in and out of.

"So, where did you learn how to do this! I'm a little surprised, to be honest," he chuckled.

"When I was little I used to love making little forts. My mom and dad ended up buying me a tent that I had set up in my room for months before they told me I had to sleep on my bed."

He laughed, "well, this looks comfortable."

"Just grab some pillows," I said, ducking into the fort and disappearing into the large space. It was only lit by the lamp that somehow managed to be included. I rested back on the nightstand until Brad came in, shoving four pillows into the space.

I rested them against the nightstand so we could lay against them. Brad eventually sat beside me, putting his laptop on his lap before pressing play on a movie he decided on.

"We can watch something else-"

I shook my head, "no, it's okay. I'm willing to watch anything at this point - except horror."

"Oh, shit. I put on The Ring."

I rolled my eyes, gaining a laugh from him.

"How romantic," I muttered.

"I'm only joking," he chuckled, "I put on Ten Things I Hate About You. I remember you telling me it's one of your favorites."

My heart was definitely about to beat out of my chest. I am so in love. I cuddle a little closer to him as the movie starts and I rest my head on his arm.

Half way through the movie, we were too lost in our own conversation to even watch it. We sat across from each other, the laptop still playing the move a few feet away.

"... I pushed the sled and she went flying down the hill. She was going way too fast and I saw her try to jump out but she smacked right into a tree. I was only six at the time and she was ten, so she knew right away that something was wrong. She broke her arm but she was so quiet the whole time until we got to the hospital. Our mom was so pissed at me," Brad explained.
