"Cheers." The red-head said to the taxi driver after paying.
Donna walked towards the building carrying her suitcase. Her previous thoughts knocked from her mind as she entered the familiar building. It was winter in England so naturally the sun was already setting despite the relatively early hour. A lazy orange haze spread across the many buildings of the school and the burnt orange edge mixed with the dusty grey horizon as the sun began it's decent.
"Hello Donna!" The secretary greeted.
"Hi Erin." Donna returned. Erin was an old friend of Donna's; she was, obviously, older than Donna but friendly and polite, if occasionally a bit too excitable and annoyingly positive.
Donna followed Erin's instructions after taking her school packet. She made her way to the left, her suitcase rolling noisily behind her. Donna ignored the stairs and walked along the corridor to the very end and stopped in front of her door; room 135a, the door was a beautiful mahogany and the figures were placed in a stylish gold under a spy hole.
Donna pulled out her key and tiredly opened her door. "Same as last year," She said to herself before duping her stuff on the bed to the left which she proclaimed hers. "Maybe this year I'll actually make some friends."
Her room was painted a deep shade of red with the blanket covers matching the shade of the walls however the pillows were a cream colour. Everything else was the same as a normal dorm.
Bored with just staring at the ceiling, the red haired girl began un-packing and placing her clothes in her wardrobe while scattering trinkets and photos across her shelves. Donna was just about to shove a long purple top in her wardrobe as she heard the door open. She turned her attention to her roommate standing in the doorway. She was a very short girl with a round face and short charcoal hair, shaved on one side and dyed pillar box red at the tips. She wore a long, red, cheongsam top that was embellished with gold on the hem and the same colour on a thin belt across her waist. The top was adorned with intricate and elegant golden patterns of dragons entwined with flowers. Underneath she wore pearly white trousers and a jade bracelet hung around her wrist.
"Hi." She smiled. Her accent was weird to place. It seemed American or Malaysian with a hint of British. "My name's Kim, Kim Richards. What's yours?" Kim seemed friendly but there was an undertone of shyness and even fear hidden behind her brown eyes.
"Donna Noble." Donna replied and smiled at Kim before turning back to her clothes.
Kim walked over to her bed and began organizing her stuff like Donna. Within no time the two were chatting happily about their lives, hobbies, what happened last year as well as everything and anything in between.

Okay so, once again, short chapter, but all the main introductions are now over, the next chapter will be them meeting and explaining the rules at the school, stuff like that. Also, another youtuber appearance, yaay! Yogscast Kim, Kim Richards, is probably my favorite youtuber, and we share a name, so I had to put her in. But anyway, the next chapter or two will be a bit boring and explain-y, that's a word now. Anyway, thank you for reading.
