David thanked the taxi driver and handed him his money before stuffing his hands in his pocket again. He walked through the tall black gates that hung open, waiting for the other students to arrive. David walked up the stone path towards the looming building of the dorms. Either side of the path was pale concrete already filled with students catching up with friends or saying goodbye to their parents. David smiled warmly as the as the sun washed him in a golden glow, the pride in the parent's faces made him wonder what his parents would have thought about him getting into such a prestigious boarding school. The thought caused him to frown. His gaze landed on the floor and he continued to walk down the grey pebble path.

As he reached the large building he pushed open the doors to be met with waiting room. A royal blue rug led to an oak desk with a young ginger haired woman sitting behind it. On either side of the desk were a row of dorms and stairs to the other floors.

The room had chairs and tables spread out around it and large book shelves surrounding the walls. David walked up to the front desk and smiled at the woman who had turned away from the computer to gaze at him. She had short, scruffy, red hair and wore a purple jacket.

"Hello there, what's your name?" She smiled politely

"David, David Smith." He replied.

"Okay, let's see what room you'll be staying in..." She murmured more to herself than David, clicking away at her computer again. David looked around awkwardly before the girl started talking to him again.

"So you're new here, aren't you?" She inquired without lifting her head from computer screen.

"Yeah, yeah I am."

"Didn't think I saw you last year..."

They waited in silence for a few moments again.

"Ah, here you are; David Smith, room 223b that's to your right and up the stairs. Sorry for the wait and-"

The red-head pushed her chair quickly to the right. She slid across the floor on the chair to a metal cabinet. She stood and opened a drawer and flicked through it until triumphantly pulling out a transparent wallet.

"-Here's your school folder with your dorm key, time table, map and things like that in." She grinned handing David the packet. "No lessons today or tomorrow. There will be an assembly in the main hall later, you will hear the announcement when it's time to go. The hall is in the Social building which you find on your map." The woman rushed.

"Thank you." David beamed. The tall brown haired boy followed the woman's instructions and walked to the right of the desk. He was met with a spiral staircase to his right. He climbed up the stairs and stopped at the first level, floor B.

David strolled down the corridor, hands in pockets, until he stopped in front of an ink black door with a spy hole above the shining, clean cut, silver symbols; 223b.

The tall boy walked causally into the room and observed his surroundings. To his right was a bathroom and straight ahead were two simple beds with cream bed sheets. There were 2 wardrobes opposite the beds, some empty shelves lining the pale blue walls and a light brown bedside table besides each bed. On the wall between the two beds was a small window that over looked the court yard and the other buildings.

He dropped his backpack onto the bed. He didn't have much, just some clothes, school books and a picture of himself with his friends; Matt had jumped on his back causing Clara to face palm at the two's idiocy and Rose to laugh. Amy's head was resting on Rory's shoulder while River messed with selfie stick and the photo was born. David smiled, reliving the memory. He walked up to the window and looked over the courtyard with a couple of students dotted around.

David fell into a daydream. He had no idea how long he had been standing there until he was brought back to reality by the sound of the door closing and an Irish accent.

"Oh hi!" The voice called. David turned to be met with a small boy with bright crystal eyes and a blue hoody, his hair hidden beneath a flat cap.

"You er, you must be my roommate." The boy smiled timidly.

"Yep! That's me!" David grinned brightly, making the small boy's smile widen.

David walked over to the Irish boy and held out his hand.

"David, David Smith." The taller boy said as the other took his hand.

"Sean McLoughlin. But people tend to call me Jack." David raised an eyebrow at the reply.

"Don't ask." Jack sighed.

"I can't talk either." David smiled reassuringly. "My friends call me The Doctor."

"Awesome, okay if I call ya that?"

"Why not?" The Doctor grinned once again.

Yay! I did the first chapter. I will try and update this every Wednesday but if I can't think of anything else to write, you may have to wait a bit because I want to write to the best of my ability for you guys! As you can probably tell if you understood the Jacksepticeye reference, this story will include multiple background characters that will mainly be based of people from other fandoms. For example, the character Jack/Sean is a youtuber I like. I really hope you enjoyed reading this chapter and you will continue to read on. Thank you!
