I clicked ‘accept’ button. Being internet ‘married’ to Craig would be cool, and he was nice. Since it wasn’t a real marriage, it wouldn’t be so bad. It would even give me a chance to get to know Craig better.

“Serenity, can you let me on the computer? It’s kind of important,” I lied. Serenity was too busy typing away on her newest Wattpad story, she didn’t even hear me.

“Serenity? Are you even listening?” I raised my voice, flicking Serenity in the head with my finger. Serenity turned around quickly, giving me something she’d call a ‘stank look’.

“What is it, now? Triniti, I’m writing if you didn’t notice.” Serenity turned back around to her computer, continuing to type. I rolled my eyes hard and turned Serenity’s chair around, so she could face me.

“Let me on,” I commanded, already reaching for the computer. 

“Why? You get on everyday and stay on. Can’t you just let me on? I’m pretty sure your little ‘Craig’ can wait a little bit. With his catfish self.”

“Shut the hell up and mind your own business,” I retorted. Serenity got on my last nerve. And that wasn’t even a lie.

“See? This why you ain’t getting on,” Serenity tuned me out, and pecked at the keyboard. I knew she wouldn’t budge at all, and I have to ask for the only other computer we had. My mom’s.

“Moo-om. Can I use your computer?” I called from my room. She didn’t answer. I’m taking that as a yes. I crept in my mom’s room, and the computer was logged on, which meant I could talk to Craig faster. I logged on to chatme.com, and logged on to my account. Craig requested to chat me many times. He was still online, so I accepted one of the requests.

Since Craig was just left the chat, I figured I should make some new friends on the internet. My eyes followed a banner that read ‘People You May Want To Chat’. The selection was evened out between girls and boys. Two of the boys were actually attractive, and the girls were really pretty. All of the people recommended were online, so I decided to chat with one of the boys. That was all I really got along with, anyway.

Are you sure you want to request ‘T H A T O N E D U D E’  for chat? I clicked ‘yes’, and the guy accepted immediately. Hopefully Craig didn’t find anything wrong with this. The last thing I wanted to do was upset him. He was my everything.
