"Let's go for a walk in the woods, I– I've got something to tell you..."
....
"Hurry the hell up!" Devon shouted impatiently from the window of the black BMW, before resigning back in his seat and lighting a cigarette.
I sat patiently in the middle seat at the back of the car as I blew bubbles with my gum. I had learned to keep my mouth shut around him.
The left door of the back seat swung open as Shawn lazily got in beside me later followed by Cole who got in to the seat on my right.
I smiled at Cole as I offered him some of my bubble gum I had earned from Devon, which he took happily before returning my smile.
"Fine then don't offer me any." Shawn huffed crossing his arm over his chest like a little child.
I chuckled as I tossed the packet of gum into his lap. He took it triumphantly placing a strand in his mouth, before blowing a huge pink bubble in my face.
The car started after a few seconds as we took off to our destination.
"So? Where are we going, again?" I asked after ten minutes into the journey.
All male species in the car remained silent which I took as a 'We're not telling you so shut up and relax.'
I sighed as I placed my head on Cole's shoulder, before closing my eyes.
I had been here for almost a month now but still knew very little about the three men. All I knew so far was; The man with the dark hair's name was Devon, he was also Cole's uncle and Shawn was a friend of theirs.
I had lived through the month switching from Cole's clothes to Shawn's if he let me. I never troubled Devon and never mentioned anything family related when I was around Cole.
I had begged Devon to allow me to call my parents several times so they knew I was alive. But he refused each time.
I gazed out the window with Cole as my head remained on his shoulder. Cole and I had become close during my time here which made life here easier for the both of us.
I had tried to escape several times but to no avail. I had once smuggled Shawn's phone but the lack of service wouldn't allow the call and Shawn blew a fuse when he found out about it.
The journey continued as Cole and I slept, Shawn remained silent chewing on his gum cautiously.

I woke up to the sun filling the screen of the car making my eyes hurt. The car was empty.
Running away with the car suddenly struck my mind. But I knew it wouldn't be possible, for one I didn't even know how to turn the key to start the engine how much more hijacking.
Yawning I fumbled for the car handle as I opened the door. The light from the sun hitting me at full force.
I froze as I observed my surroundings. The cottage sat on a small hill with a sheer drop at its front and protective cliff at its back. The door could only be perceived by the clue of the wicket gate set in a wavy herringbone slated wall enclosing the property.
A rough thatched roof bent and waved over the whole as if it were a poorly placed piecrust lifted irregularly to admit three square window.
I open my mouth as I gazed at the small cottage.
"You'd want to close your mouth flies are dominant in these areas."
I whipped around quickly, managing to twist my leg in the process, landing on my butt.
I groaned as I rubbed the lower half of my back.
A chuckle brought my attention to a tall figure standing over me with its hand out stretched.
"Hey clumsy." The figure spoke. I immediately brought my hand to my face to shield the sun from my eyes.
The boy that stood in front of me was tall with a mop of dark blond hair that fell slightly past his light blue eyes which were framed by a small mass of dark freckles across his nose. No denying, handsome.
"Ashton." He said introducing himself with a hint of a southern accent as he looked me up and down.
I immediately felt conscious as I remembered that I was dressed in one of Cole's hoodies with a navy snap back on my head. I mentally groaned as I hoisted myself up ignoring his out stretched hand as I smiled back at him.
"Madison." I announced patting my hands on the back of my jeans to get rid of excess dirt.
"Nice to meet you Maddie, can I call you that?" He asked taking my hand slowly and planting a kiss on it whilst keeping his blue eyes on mine.
I blushed slightly as I stared into his eyes.
"Maddie get your ass in here for lunch." Shawn screamed through a window in the cottage ruining the moment.
I pulled my hand away quickly as I looked away embarrassed. Nice one Madison.
"Sorry, I have to go." I said making my way to the cottage.
"Hey, no problem." Ashton nodded shooting me an apologetic look. "Maybe we could meet up in the evening or I don't know–if you want to I mean." He added rubbing the back of his neck.
I glanced at the cottage then back at Ashton.
"Pick me up at six?" I asked, grinning slightly.
"Really? I mean yea cool–six." Ashton replied looking surprised.
"See you." I waved as he grabbed the wheel barrow that had been leaning against a tree and headed off in the opposite direction.
