It was her father who called the cops.
To be honest I was happy. I was absolutely tired of living my life in the dark, I wanted to be set free.
Shawn and I were asked questions all night leaving us exhausted in the morning.
I for one answered truthfully, as for Shawn he held a grim expression that I could no longer read.
They were sending me to a home. Until I was eighteen then I would be sent to court.
As for Shawn he had been involved with some of the things Devon had been involved in.
I hadn't a clue what would happen to him next. We had been separated ages ago.
But Maddie...
She was still on my mind.
