"So were did you say we were going again?" I asked as I placed my head against the window of the car.
Cole had grabbed shot gun, whilst Shawn drove the black BMW.
"We're taking you home Maddie." Cole spoke as he stared through the window.
I sighed as I continued to look outside at the fog forming against the window.
"What about you?" I asked.
Shawn sighed before speaking.
"Cole and I will be fine Maddie."
I sighed again as I let sleep take over my body.

"This is it, isn't it?" I heard Shawn ask as we came to a stop.
I cracked an eye open as I glanced out the window at the familiar surroundings.
Shawn pulled up near the house and stepped out of the car later followed by Cole.
"Maddie you coming?" Cole asked as he opened my door and peered his head through.
Home. Was all I could think. Home.
We made our way to the front door, Cole at my right and Shawn on my left.
Without any warning I grabbed Shawns hand into my left hand and Coles into my right.
Shawn squeezed it encouragingly as he rang on the door bell. We all fell silent as the outline of someone could be seen approaching us through the stained window on the door.
My mother opened the door, shock plastered on her tiered face as she stood frozen looking at the three of us.
"Johnathan." She called to my father as she kept her eyes trained on us.
"Come see this..."
