"Maddie hurry up!" Aaron screamed at me from the bottom of the stairs.
I grabbed my leather jacket from my bed before taking a final look at myself in the full length mirror.
This party had better be good. I thought as I adjusted my ponytail.
"Coming!" I screamed back, hopping down the stairs two at a time.
Aaron was seated at the bottom of the stairs swinging his keys around his finger. He glanced up at me, raising an eyebrow at my outfit choice.
"What?" I asked grabbing some lip balm from my jacket pocket.
"A dress would have been nice." He insisted getting up from the stairs.
I frowned at him. I was happy with my black jeans, vest top, navy Vanns and leather jacket.
"Aaron, I don't even want to go to this stupid party, the last thing I need is you nagging me on about my clothing choice." I snapped.
He threw his hands up in the air in defence before grinning at me.
"Fine, fine okay, lets go." He insisted before pulling my hand.
I stumbled as my foot made contact with the marble floor.
"Let's get this over with."

"Loosen up babe, have a good time." Evan whispered placing a hand against my lap.I immediately slapped it away as I waited patiently for the bartender to arrive with my glass of water.
"Come on Madison, stop ruining this for everyone." Evan replied placing his arm back on my lap.
I ignored him as I rose up from my chair. I knew this party was a bad idea. I needed to find Aaron.
"Hey were do you think your going?" Evan called from behind me.
I continued to ignore him as I made my way outside.
Taking out my phone, I began to dial Aaron's number. The phone remained blank as I pressed the on button.
Giving up with a sigh. I placed the phone that I had gotten only two days ago for my seventeenth birthday back in my pocket before crossing my arms over my chest.
The weather was getting colder, my bottom lip trembled.
I felt a hand against my backside.
Whipping around quickly to be met by a pair of piercing green eyes.
"Hey babe, don't think you can run." Evans warm breath brushed against the side of my neck.
I pulled back quickly as I tried to move around him. But he held on tight to my arm.
"Let go." I hissed as I stood hard against his toe.
He remained unmoved as if it had no impact on him.
I glanced around quickly to see if there was anyone who could help me. But the place remained scarce bar the drunk man smoking on the pavement.
"Get your hands off her." Aaron's voice came from behind us.
Evan held on firmly as he eyed Aaron up.
"What are you going to possibly do?" He hissed, a smirk appearing on his lips.
Without a second thought, Aaron shoved him hard against his chest causing him to topple over and loose grip on me.
I immediately made my way to Aaron's car as he trailed along after me.
"Quick pass over the keys, it freezing." I shivered as I threw my hands in the air for the keys.
Aaron sighed before walking around to my side.
"Let's go for a walk in the woods, I–I have something to tell you." He insisted leaning against the car.
I shivered.
"Aaron its freezing, and Evan isn't going to forget what you just did, can we just talk in the car?" I moaned .
"Look, Evan won't come near us, here's my coat." He insisted leaning over me to put his coat around my shoulders.
I shimmed it off as I threw it back to him.
"I'm fine, you wear it." I replied noticing that he was only in a black T-shirt.
We continued to argue over who got to wear the coat before Aaron finally gave up and took it with a long sigh.
"If you catch your death of cold out here...don't blame me." He teased before grabbing my hand into his.
I chuckled as we made our way past the bar, to the woods...

I told them everything they wanted. The truth...
