"Eh, were the heck are you going." Cole asked eyeing me suspiciously.
"Where are my black jeans?" I asked ignoring his question as I tossed his clothes to the floor of our shared room.
"Tell me where your going first." Cole ordered getting down from the window sill.
"None of your business Cole just tell me were my jeans are." I snapped dumping more of his clothes unto the floor.
He stayed silent for a moment before finally raising an eyebrow.
I sighed tossing his flannel to the floor.
"If you must know, I'm meeting a friend Cole, nothing special." I said shrugging my shoulders as I continued to rummage through his things.
"Oh and for the record, the next time you decide to kidnap someone, let them know before hand so they can pack some extra clothes." I mocked glaring at Cole.
"I. Didn't. Ki--."
"Kidnap me. Yeah yeah, whatever." I interrupted rolling my eyes.
He glared at me as I emptied his clothes onto the floor in search of my jeans.
"You can't go." Cole finally announced.
"What do you mean I can't go?" I asked taking a break from his clothing.
"Cole in case you haven't noticed, I am an independent person, you can't tell me where I can and can not go." I added glaring at him.
"Your not going anywhere, that's final." He ordered putting his weight against the door as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Oh and does this friend of yours happen to be male or female?" Cole added.
"None of your business idiot." I almost screamed.
"Just tell me were my jeans are and get the heck out off my way." I announced.
He remained silent for a moment before pointing in the direction of a small suitcase I hadn't noticed before.
I sighed gratefully before making my way to the suitcase. "See Cole that wasn't hard was it?" I asked teasingly as I unzipped the suitcase.
Grabbing my black leather jacket and jeans I made my way to the bed to get changed before hesitating at the smirking Cole at the door.
"Turn around." I ordered, causing him to grin before turning around with his hands up in the air in defeat.
If there was any thing else I learnt about Cole it was that he was respectful about other people privacy unlike his friend Shawn who would gladly watch a girl change.
I got dressed as quickly as I could, making sure to tuck the bottom of my jeans up a bit to make the outfit look as casual as possible.
"Done." I announced after zipping up my fly and adjusting my leather jacket over my body. I had lost a few pounds over the mouth but I still fitted in my clothes.
"Stunning." Cole said dryly turning around, but remaining in front of the door.
I grabbed the tube of lip balm that was in my pocket and applied some to my lips before letting my hair lose over my shoulders while brushing it out with my fingers.
"Have you got any mints?" I asked fumbling with my hair.
"Here." Cole answered rummaging through his jeans pocket and tossing me a packet of spear mints.
I took it gratefully and popped two in my mouth.
"Now if you will excuse me, I have somewhere to be." I announced expecting him to move from the door.
"Your not going anywhere." Cole repeated not budging from the door.
"Cole get the heck out of my way, I don't want to stand him up." I said making an effort to shove Coles muscled body out of the way. No luck.
"Him?" Cole asked just as the door bell rang.
"Get out of the way Cole!" I screamed shoving him with my shoulder.
There was a knock at our door, causinging Cole to jump and make room for the person to enter.
Devon entered the room shutting the door silently behind him.
"Who is that boy at the front door?" Devon grunted looking from Cole to me and back again.
I hesitated before speaking. "A friend of mine, we were meant to meet up tonight to hang out, I guess." I said rubbing the back of my neck as I glanced at Cole who seemed very interested in the brown carpet all of a sudden.
Devon glared at me before his expression softened.
" I am your father and these two are your brothers and your staying here for a while on a family vacation." He continued breathing heavily as he lit another cigarette. "Because if you utter a word of the truth to anyone, or even think about trying to escape, I will have you and all your sisters down at the other side before you can even open your pretty little mouths to say sorry." He hissed keeping his dark eyes on mine.
I felt Cole tense beside me, but he kept his eyes glued to the floor.
You could never be my father, I wanted to scream. But I nodded in reply before forcing a smile unto my face.
"Good, now you can leave." He dismissed signaling to the door.
I nodded gratefully before exciting the room and making my way to the front door.
Ashton was leaning against the frame of the door a straw in his mouth and a cowboy hat over his head.
I smiled at him as I choked back Devon's words.
Down at the other side...
