"Let me show you something." Ashton said grabbing hold of my hand gently making my stomach flutter.

The sun was going down slowly as Ashton and I walked softly through the woods hand in hand.

"This place is beautiful." I sighed stopping to pick a dandelion from the path.

"Mm." Ashton replied pulling me along gently.

We walked for ten minutes chatting about the woods and forest until we reached a small area with a train track.

The place was rusty and barren, like an old ghost train that had been long rejected.

I sighed slowly letting go of his hand to touch the rusted metal of the track.

Ashton smiled as he made his way to the center of the train track before sitting down with his legs crossed underneath him and patting the space next to him gently.

I hesitated slowly making my way to where he was sitting.

"You see that?" He asked pointing to the gold, yellow and red of the sun reaching its peak as it went down.

"Yeah." I nodded settling down so there was barley an inch between us.

Ashton noticed this and moved his body closer so that our sides touched.

"Can you see the sunset real good on the West side? You can see it on the East side too." he quoted keeping his eyes to the sky.

"The outsider by S.E Hinton?" I asked looking at him.

He turned his head towards me as he nodded slowly keeping his blue eyes fixed to my dark ones.

"This is my special place, I go here every evening to clear my mind. It's nice to share it with someone." He said placing an arm around my shoulders.

I tried to control the colour rising to my cheeks as I stared into his blue eyes.

This wasn't me. I wasn't the type of girl to turn to mush after talking to a boy about the sunset for one day.

That wasn't until now.

I rested my head slightly against his shoulder as he hummed a tune I had never heard before.

I bust out laughing after a few seconds.

"Wow this is mushy." I blurted out immediately regretting it after a look of pure hurt crossed his face for a second before turning into a cheeky grin.

"Tell me about it." He said removing his arm from my shoulders.

"Let's just cut to the chase."

And with that, he placed his hand under my chin as his lips met mine.
