The holidays have commenced and I've been the happiest I have ever been for a long time now.
Many confuse happiest with only being with someone you love and that can be true. But knowing that you're happy with yourself is very important.
Not knowing who I was, was terrible for me. I was confused and lonely but I had friends that have helped me along the way.
Being able to confide in someone who is my closet family is an amazing thing. For the longest time I thought family was just about people whom are blood related to you.
But family can be anyone who you connect with. Friends I believe are their to be your family when you're too scared to be say or express yourself to your actual family.
Every single person that I've encountered with this year whether if they're new or just an old friend. They have a special place in my heart.
I will forever be blessed to be able to have these special people in my life to guid me and accept me for the person that I am.
