A/N: I just wanted to let you all know Monica's POV will now be written in first person. Sorry for the change, it is just way easier for me this way and I won't make pronoun mistakes. Thanks!
"That's your problem," Russell snapped. He was clearly in a bad mood this evening. Something must have not gone the brat's way. "You're telling your bratty friends about you and I! But you know what? I don't give a shit, I really, really don't, Monica, you know why? Because I don't have a relationship on the line. That's fucking why."
"You're right, I'm sorry if I did something wrong," I admitted. I didn't like getting yelled at by Russell at all—because, well, he was a fucking spoiled brat. But I decided to listen to him because maybe this one time, he might be right. "I should've checked with you first before I told someone else about what was happening between us." Desiree wasn't home, and we were both sitting on my bed.
"You're damn right, I'm right," He said, pounding his fist against my night stand. I didn't say anything after that. I decided against it. "Now fucking kiss me." He cupped my cheek and made our lips connect. My lips molded upon his. "And stop making me so angry all the damn time," He growled into the kiss.
"I really don't mean too," I separated from him and shook my head. "I really don't mean to make you angry, you know? It's... hard for me. I'm sorry."
"Stop being so damn sorry all the time," He corrected me and kept kissing down my jawline and down my neck. I swore something about this felt so right, yet I felt so wrong. So dirty. "Well, are you gonna play the part of the seductress or am I going to be fucking a limp rag doll tonight?" I tried to play the part I really did, but I wasn't in a freaky mood tonight. I wanted nothing more than to have a civil conversation with Russell. Even though I could have this at any other time.
"Why are you like this?" I asked him. He groaned and got off of me and stood up. "Who broke your heart? A girl must have for you to act like this towards wo—"
He cut me off before I could continue. "I'm not hurt. I've never been hurt. Women don't hurt me. Nobody hurts me. Get that right, Monica. I don't want to do this."
"Do what?" I asked. Deep, deep down inside I was hoping he was saying he didn't want to fool around anymore. Yes, it did give me a rush, but something about him made me feel... different. A good different.
"This whole 'Let's just sit and talk like a couple' gig. It's freaking me out a little. Can't we just have sex before your sister comes home?" He meant for it to come out like a question, but it didn't. It came out as a demand. I smiled up at Russell and stood up. I straddled his lap and began kissing him slow and sensually. I wanted Russell to feel my passion, really feel it. I was just scared he would get the wrong idea. I rolled and grinded my hips upon his, I could feel his abs grazing against my abdomen. His rock hard stomach. He tried to speed up the speed of the kissing, but I kept it nice and slow. I was going to try my hardest to keep the beast that was Russell under control. His hands found their way to my butt and gave a hard squeeze and slap. I giggled into the kiss a little but kept the passion.
"Monica, Monica," He began, but I stopped him from saying anything more.
"Take off your shirt," I ordered in an aggressive tone. If Russell did not want to play games, I was not going to play games.
"What?" He asked.
"Did I stutter? I said take off your damn shirt, Russell," I said, as Russell shook his head, narrowing his eyes.
"Did I stutter when I was clearly stating the rules? I am the dominant, you are the submissive," He clarified. His voice had completely changed, and he was back to being arrogant and rude again.
"I thought you would like it if I took control..." I admitted. What guy did not like a girl to be controlling during sex? Didn't that turn them on?
"Well, you thought wrong," He snapped. I rolled my eyes at his tone. "See that's the thing I'm trying to teach you, Monica. You don't know what really turns me on. You don't know anything about me." Why was he being so rude? Why was Russell like this?
"I try to sit down and talk to you, Russell, like two civilized human beings. You know, have a conversation? Do you even know how to do that? But every time I try, you shoot me down. You say, 'Can we just have sex already?' We have plenty of fucking time. I can't get to know you, Russell, because you don't fucking conversate!" I didn't mean to raise my voice, but as I continued, it angered and frustrated me even more. What the hell was this man's problem?
"Because we are sneaking around your damn sister all the time!" Russell shouted back at me. "I really want my payments back for my damn car already. I don't want you to get to know me."
"You're a real fucking mystery, Russell Westbrook," I said.
"I like being a mystery," He retorted.
"If you hate sneaking around my sister so much, why don't we just go to your place then?" I asked. Russell looked to the floor, shaking his head, irritated.
"Dammit, Monica," He stood up, still shaking his head. "Let's go. We are leaving."
"Where are we going?" I asked him. I didn't stand up from the bed.
"To get food and then go on an adventure," He reached his hand out for mine. I hesitated before placing my hand in his and letting him pull me off the bed. We stared at each other for a few moments, before he dropped my hand and turned to walk out of the door. I stood there for a second, running my hand over my other one. "You coming?" He called, from the top of the stairs and hurried out of the door.
