I walked into gym class scanning around for Julian

I walked into gym class scanning around for Julian. I adjusted my black Adidas running shorts and smoothed out my white Nike top. "Why are you wearing those tight coochie cutters?," Taylor asked.

"Ugh, stop saying that word," I scrunched up my face. I always hated that word. It sounds like something dirty down there.

"What? Coochie?," she emphasized on purpose.

"Yes!!! Stop!," I said that so loud that the whole gymnasium could here me. Julian came out the locker room looking so good I couldn't help but stare. I couldn't help but notice his olive-green Nike Prestos and matching with his olive-green gym shorts that I could see his print in and steam pressed white T-shirt. "There go your man!," Taylor laughed nudging my shoulder.

I shook my head. "That is not my man, he doesn't want someone like me. I mean, it's just a little crush," I shrugged my shoulders.

"Shit, I beg to differ. He just over there sizing you up. Chile, you better go get your man."

I glanced over to my right and saw Miracle and her group of followers talking about me. I cannot stand her. I don't understand why she's acting so childish over a man who doesn't even want anything to do with her. But, I will beat that ass ONE MORE TIME.....

I started jogging around the track but I was caught off guard when I saw Julian smiling at me from the bleachers. I swear, it's so contagious. I bumped into someone who caused me to fall on my behind. I waited for the person to say sorry or give me a helping hand but, instead their harsh voice came out of nowhere startling me. "You talking to him now?," Rodney asked.

I scrunched up my face, "Why the hell is it your concern?" My frown turned into a devious smirk knowing that the new boy was getting under his skin.

"You ain't going out with him!," he argued grabbing my hand and holding it until I snatched it away. I tied up my curly hair in a high ponytail. "Oh, you own me now? Shit, we ain't together and last time I checked, you are not my daddy. Miracle was the one who got her ass beat over you, so if i was you, I would worry about yourself instead of being in my business which you take no part in," I sassed, pointing at him.

I continued to jog away before Julian caught my hand sending me to a halt. "Oh, so we meet again," he started. "Oh yes we do. I couldn't help but notice you smiling at me. Do you like what you see?," I conducted myself in a classy yet seductive way. I didn't know where I was going with this conversation but, right about now, I want to jump on him and show him I turn up.

"Shit, I do. I meant what I said about getting to know you better. Lemme take you out after school.," he offered. Girl, you better say yes, I could hear Taylor saying in my brain. "How do you know I don't have something to do?," I challenged. "Because, you would have said no by now," he answered staring into my deep brown eyes.

When I came home, Julian was on my mind heavy. I twisted my hair up with leave in conditioner and coconut oil. When I texted my address, he said he was going to be here at 4:30 and it is 3:00 now. I didn't know how I was supposed to be ready by then but I had to make it work.

I took a fresh shower and put on my black push up bra and cotton boy shorts. I stood in my body length mirror and noticed my beautiful curves. I know that there is a big difference between thick and fat. "Thick was being thick all around. A little pudge won't hurt nobody. Don't be another Instagram wannabe with the "perfect body" and low self-esteem. Be you, Loyalty Parker."

I slipped on my black high-waisted shorts, pink cropped hoodie and my Oreo 12s. I started working on my hair. I took out my twists and achieved limp curls. Back to square one, I thought. I quickly brushed up my hair until it was in a perfect high ponytail. My phone lit up exposing, his number at the top....

I'm outside, bae

I ain't your bae yet..

I ran downstairs and peeked out the window Julian leaning on the side in his silver Range Rover. I walked down my porch steps and he smirked opening the passenger door for me. Nice, he is a gentleman. "Thanks," I politely thanked, entering his truck that still had the new car smell. I couldn't help but lick my lips when I saw him concentrating on the road and made those frustrating faces when somebody would cut him off or hold up traffic.

"God, he is so sexy," I mistakenly said out loud. He looked over my direction and bit his bottom lip, "Don't make me pull over and show you how sexy I can be."

"Concentrate on the road, lil' boy. You're going to make us crash ," I giggled. I turned up the radio and Say It by Tory Lanez came on. "Aye, this my song." I started singing the lyrics of the song out loud. He started concentrating too much on my body when I started to slowly grind in my seat.

After the evening traffic, we finally pulled up at a Five Guy's on Wilshire Blvd. He held my hand into the restaurant and opened the door for me. This was something Rodney never did for me. Julian was definitely impressing me so far.

We were at the front counter and I was ready to eat looking at the mouth-watering choices on the menu. "Lemme get a Cheeseburger with extra mayo, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and sautéed onions and a large coke. Add on a side of medium fries, please."

"Damn, girl," he commented as the cashier red back my order. "Yeah, I'm not one of those salad eating girls on dates. I'm not about to be scared to eat in front of nobody." He chuckled lowly.

"I like that, Loyalty," he replied.

"Let me get the same thing," he ordered. He payed for our food and lead me to our table. "So introduce yourself," I started not knowing how to start the convo.

"Well, my name is Julian Anderson as you know. I'm new here in LA and when I met you I just had to take you out. Something about you caught my eye. My favorite color is black. I hate liars and my favorite food is macaroni and cheese."

"Oh really, you really caught my eye and most niggas at this school don't do that. My ex, was a why. Why the fuck did I go out with your ass?" We started busted out laughing when our food came. "Why did you make the transition to move all the way out here?," I questioned dipping my fry into honey bbq sauce.

"Well, my father had got relocated because of his job. Besides it way too much that was going on up there,' he explained. I nodded my head analyzing his situation.

We started getting in on eating our food until we were full. I never made a connection with a boy like that. He seemed genuine and obviously he didn't have a problem about my size or looks or personality.

He leaned his face towards me and watched me as I took in his facial features. His lips were so soft and moist. When he pulled back, I looked outside and it was getting dark. "I should probably take you home, huh." I nodded my head in agreement.

I took me home and kissed me on the cheek. I got out the truck, and walked into the house cheesing. I screamed with excitement knowing how Taylor would react to this.

"Girl, what in the world are you doing all that screaming in my house for?," my mom asked walking downstairs as I came up.

"Ooh, mama. You just don't know!," I giggled.
