Walking home, I looked at the purplish, reddish and orangey sky. Feeling the shorts rise up my leg, I pulled them down to my mid thigh. I entered the local corner store getting a Cookies and Cream Hershey bar off of the candy rack. I placed a dollar on the counter and grabbed my chocolate bar. I slipped my Apple headphones, selected shuffle on my music playlist and enjoyed the intro of Slow Down by Bobby Valentino.
I sped up my pace noticing that the sun was setting before my eyes. The street lights immediately jolted on and the dark sky slowly appeared. Taking out my headphones, I looked around at my grafitti ridden neighborhood seeing that is it wasn't no one in sight. How many more blocks do I have to walk?
My speed walk turned into a run. Within my few seconds of running, my sore body collapsed on the concrete after I came in contact with something. "What the fuck?!"
"You alright, mama?," a deep tenor voice asked me. Not making eye contact with the mysterious person that could've been an old creep, I said "Yeah."
He held his lightly colored arm out to help me up. I got up to dust myself off but was distracted when I saw his piercing green eyes. I bit my lip not wanting a smile to escape my lips.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you," he apologized softly grabbing my hand. I snatched my hand away, quickly and continued to speed walk.
"Aye, you're leaving your phone and your candy!" he called out. He jogged towards me handing me my cracked phone and headphones. "Damn," I mumbled, looking at the large cracks and tiny missing pieces.
"Thanks," I muttered, not trying to look to his green apple colored irises. As I walked away I heard him groan in satisfaction. I knew I shouldn't have worn these shorts.

"Ma!," I called. All the lights were off and I got no response from her.
"House to myself once again," I smiled, unlocking my phone and texting Taylor on Facebook Messenger to slide through. I made a quick stop to the kitchen pantry, seeing that there was a whole pack of Red Velvet Oreos that were calling my name. "Sorry ma. I'll replace them later," I mumbled with a smirk on my face.
As I walked upstairs to my bathroom, stripping off every piece of clothing that was on my body. I filled my bathtub with lukewarm water, body oil and watermelon and cucumber scented bubble bath. I put my phone on silent and sat it on the corner of the porcelain tub. I dipped in letting the temperature ease my muscles.
I opened the package of cookies and devoured a few as I sunk deeper in the tub. After exfoliating and cleansing I rinsed my body, twice, and dried off with a warm towel.
A knock on the door made me stop everything I was doing. I quickly threw on a fluffy bathrobe. Expecting nobody but Taylor.
"What's up, babes," she greeted entering the foyer with a Dixie cup of an unknown liquid in her hand. She took off her Checkboard Slip On Vans.
"Nothing really. Got the house to myself so I decided to kick it with my girl," I replied locking the door. She followed after me, where I lead her to my room.
"Look at dat ass, though," she slyly remarked patting on my butt. She plopped on the bed, sitting on the bed Indian style.
"Girl, can you not? I don't roll that way. I like sausage," I proclaimed putting on a pair of silk underwear.
"Chile, please. I'm sexy as hell. You would've smashed if we weren't so close. Be for real," she commented sipping her drink, running her fingers through her blue colored afro.
"You are a pretty girl and all but, I can't see myself with a female. Especially not with yo' crazy ass," I giggled sitting next to her.
"Ya'know why I hang around you so much? I hang around you because I admire you a lot. You are such a real friend," she rambled.
"Ya'know you are such a beautiful girl that I always can't help but stare at and I have to put my feelings to the side because we've been girls for so long and you are in a relationship with Julian. That's why when you fight, I fight. I will drag a bitch or kill a bitch over you I promise you that," she continued before taking another sip.
I shifted closer to her, wiping my hair out of my face. "Wait what? What feelings are you talking about?"
She put her hand over mine and said, "I'm physically attracted to you. Everytime I see you I kinda get these butterflies in my tummy."
She sighed, "Ever since 11th grade I've wanted to do this."
In an instant, her lips crashed into mine, intertwining her alcohol flavored tongue with mine. I closed my eyes as her smooth and soft hand rubbed my bare thigh.
A moan escaped my mouth before she grabbed me by my waist and pulled me on top of her body. My robe came a loose and my hardened nipples were exposed. She brought her warm mouth to my nipples sucking them and flicking her tongue back and forth.
"Taylor," I breathed out, while throwing my head back.
My body stiffened as I immediately thought of Julian.
"Taylor stop. Stop, Stop. Stop!," I repeated pushing her away.
I hopped off of the bed and closed my robe back. She stared at me, with her glossy eyes, for a second.
"I'm sorry. Loyalty, I-" she stopped mid sentence and ran downstairs.
"Hold up, Taylor. Wait!," I called, following after her. When I got downstairs, her shoes were gone and the door was wide open.
After locking up, I sat back on my bed trying to take in what just happened between her and I.
My thumbs dashed across my cracked screen to dial Taylor's number and her voicemail greeted my phone.
"Fuck!," I yelled throwing my phone down on the bed.
Hit me up. It feels like I ain't talk to you all day. -Julian Bhoo
I love you, Lo. -Julian Bhoo
I put my phone on do not disturb after staring at the text messages for a minute. I took off my robe to put on an oversized T-shirt and climbed into bed. I wiped my tears that soaked my pillowcase. I closed my eyes forcefully, trying to go to sleep but my mission failed.
"What the hell is going on?," I mumbled. The clock read '7:02'. It was still early and my core was gushy from Taylor and I's intimate session. My heart was pounding 100 mph as I attempted to dial her again.
"Your call has been forwarded to automatic voice message system........"
I rolled my eyes to the back of my head, huffed and covered my head with my fluffy comforter. Well, hasn't this been a wonderful and relaxing night.
