"Loyalty, please, let's talk," Jackson asked. He got up and proceeded to approach me. "Momma!?, I cried for help.
"She went to the bank. She said she would come back," he told me giving me a creepy smile. To be honest, I don't know if he's telling the truth or if he snuck his ass in my house, but I'm ready to kill him.
I wasn't strapped. The only weapon that was in my reach was a vase so, I quickly grabbed it.
"Loyalty, wait let me speak my peace. After that, you don't have to even see me again," he offered with his arms open.
I sat down on the couch and offered him a seat next to me. "Listen, Loyalty, I know I ruined your childhood and scarred you for life, but, please I just want to apologize."
Tears streamed down my face as memories invaded my thoughts. "Fuck you! Fuck you, Jackson!! You took my innocence away from me. You were supposed to be a father figure to me. But, instead you treated me like one of these hoes on the streets! What would you want with a minor? A minor?," I cried.
"Just leave," I roared, pointing to the door.
He licked his dry lips and smiled.
"You think this is funny?!?," I jumped on him and started pulling his kinky hair. He threw me on the ground straightened up his clothes and left.
"I hate you," I whispered going upstairs to my room. I quickly wiped my tears
I plopped myself on the bed and collected my thoughts. I sucked my teeth while frantically searching for Rodney's number that was still in my phone.
Here goes nothing, I thought.
I dialed the number with my Samsung Galaxy. It rang twice before he picked up.
"Who this?"
I cringed at his terrible use in grammar.
"Who do you want it to be?," I played.
"Man, who the fuck is this!," he yelled.
I covered my mouth from laughing before I got cussed out.
"Your lab partner, Loyalty."
There was a brief pause before he came back on the phone.
"Hey wassup, baby," he fixed his tone of voice rapidly.
I rolled my eyes at his flirting. "I was thinking maybe we could do a 3D model of tumor formation, but I don't have anything else in mind," I suggested.
"Oh really. Lemme come over so I can talk to you." This nigga really thinks he's slick.
"I don't think that's appropriate," I warned followed by a giggle.
"I'm glad I can make you laugh, bae," he replied.
I rolled my eyes, "So, how about I meet you at the library right around the corner from our school? We do need to have physical contact to work on this project together," I suggested.
"Alright, let me head out that way." After that I hung up.
I took off my clothes due to the scorching hot temperature outside. I put on some baggy cut off shorts with a white Calvin Klein sports bra. My Jordan 12s hit the concrete side walk.
Lord, does it have to be this hot!?!, I pondered to myself. As I entered through the door, I immediately spotted Julian and Miracle together at a table.
She was whispering in his ear while he was backing away. I turned my face up in disgust and kept walking.
I sat down at the table to see Rodney typing away on his phone. "Mr. Lab Partner," I sung placing my books on the table. He stood up and hugged my curves. He heard him inhaling my perfume, so I quickly jumped back.
"Yo, chill," I said with a slight attitude. I studied the outline, for my project, while Rodney took some notes from his iPhone.
"I got a question," he started. I quickly looked up, waiting to outsmart him.
"There is this female I'm digging. I need to know how to impress her," I continued.
I was kinda taken aback at his question because he had his ways of luring girls in.
"Well, it's simple. I mean, we're kids. Put her as your WCW, send her some flowers just show that you care," I told him naming some ideas of the top of my head.
"What happened to Ms. Miracle anyway?," I asked not really caring.
"Man, she's in my past. We're a done deal," he concluded.
I raised my eyebrows, not believing anything he was saying.
"Well, how about we catch up on this tomorrow. I have to walk back home now that it's cool outside," I said packing up my things.
"Let me walk you," he offered.
"Nah, I'm fine. Bye," I told him walking out the door.
"Loyalty, I insist. Let me walk you," he said getting up and hold my hand. What do I have to lose?
"Okay," I gave up sighing. As we were walking home, I felt his eyes rome all over my body.
"Thanks for walking me," I said making it home.
"Your welcome, shawty," he flirted.
"And I'm not your 'shawty'," I told him heading to the house.
"Yeah, not yet."
