My hot tears hit the pillow like bullets. The sound of the evening rain showers filled my room. Eventually, I came back home after venting to Taylor for the weekend. I refused to talk to Chanel. Her name wasn't mom anymore, it was Chanel on my good days and Bitch on my bad ones. I missed about a week and a half of school and on top of that I had 100 and something missed calls from Julian. I really wish my daddy was here to console me.
"Quiero a mi papi tan malo," (I want my daddy so bad) I mumbled, clutching my memory foam pillow.
Dad stuck his head in my room eying me, playing dolls. "Loyalty, come here," he softly commanded waving his hand.
"Just a minute, the Prince is finna get married," I whined continuing to play with my dolls.
"¡Ven aquí ahora!," he barked making me jump. I looked back at him seeing his sly smile.
I giggled ,"Daddy, what did you say?" I walked up to his tall frame looking up at his pleasant-looking face.
"It's Spanish. I told you to come here. I want you learn," he told me lifting up my small body and cradling me like a baby.
"Say it with me: Papá ama a su niña," he broke down each symbol. I tried my best to repeat it exactly like he did, but it was so hard.
"Daddy, what does that mean?," I asked irritated. He let out a soft chuckle before planting a kiss on my lips.
"It means 'Daddy loves his little girl'." I giggled hooking onto his neck.
"I love you, too," I exclaimed.
"Now, I'm going to teach you some more," he continued.
My phone rang again and was an unknown number. Hmm, it was either Miracle or Rodney and to be honest, I didn't have time for neither one of them. I let it vibrate on my pillow until the room was silent again.
My phone vibrated once again and the caller ID read Julian Boo. I giggled at the label and sexy icon I had saved in my phone."Hello?," I answered, ready to hear his voice.
"Why you ain't tell me he was over there Loyalty?," he questioned lowly. His voice seemed angry and on the verge of tears. I scrunched up my eyebrows, kinda confused why he didn't ask about my well-being or why I missed school.
I opened my mouth to say something but he spoke instead.
"Did he touch you, Loyalty?! I swear on my moms, I-" he growled through the phone.
"I'm fine thanks for asking, Julian! You haven't seen me in how long and you're quick to snap for no clear reason! I really don't need your energy, now," I snapped, sitting up. I exhaled, ready to release many emotions.
